Like I say above, this shoe looks great, is lightweight, comfortable and provides good safety for the toes.
I called Keen when ordering online to ask about sizing and the person who helped me asked me what brand/size of boot I have been wearing, and then looked up the size info for Keen. I had been wearing size12 Wolverines and was advised to order a size 13 Keen.
I was a little dubious but the boots arrived and they fit perfectly, are not insanely giant and are still super light even for a size 13 shoe.

For they money these are a good purchase. Probably 30 to 50 dollars to much however, but still fit my work boot budget on the high end. Ware these in a commercial construction setting, only time will tell if the sole and toe holds up to daily concrete walking. Couple weeks break in period and size is true. Comfort is about a 7 of 10. Seems like these boots could be a disposable type boot with a yr or less longevity. Ask me in 10 months .

I'm on my third pair of Keen sandals, and they are top quality. This is my first pair of Keen boots, and I'm happy to say that they have the same high level of workmanship as my "walking around" sandals.
As others have written, these have a big ol' toe box, which is great since I have a hammer toe on one foot. The first time I wore these boots, they felt as though they had already been broken in: firm but soft support at the heel, no soreness in the soles or toes, etc. Even though they feel a little heavy when you pick them up (obviously with aluminum toes) they don't seem any heavier when wearing them than a pair of sneakers.
Incidentally, I bought these to replace two pairs of budget sneakers that I had finally destroyed doing yard work and landscaping around my house. I get 2-3 years of wear out of my sandals, so I expect to have these boots quite a while, maybe even for life (basically wearing them about 10-15 hours per week when working on my property).
Happy customer...

Extremely comfortable, great heat displacement. Makes 14 hr work days a breeze compared to previous pair of Georgia boots. My feet would be destroyed after 8 hours.

I bought a pair of the San Jose soft toe 4 years ago, and the sole on the left boot finally came off. I had previously had to glue part of the sole back on, but no big deal. They were great boots, always kept my feet dry. Only wish that the soles were attached to the boot a little better. So we'll see how the aluminum toe San Jose hold up.

They look cool thats about it. Ive worn these boots lightly running around doing HVAC service and sales, as well as yard work. Theyre already falling about and causing knee pain.

12 wide. Ive had the boots for about 3 weeks now and the safety toe is just uncomfortable. It doesnt cover all my toes, so its an annoyance anytime I walk. Would probably be great without the date toe.

The $190 boots lasted two weeks before the sole was peeling off!! The customer service was bad when we tried to get a new pair. For $190 it should be easy to get a new pair after two weeks!

I've only been wearing them for 7 days but they are by far the most comfortable shoes I've ever put on. I have a lot of foot issues and have tried several pairs of shoes over the past year and I've had no pain. I bought them because I thought they looked cute and I'm on my feet all day as an artist. Best investment ever and I would buy them over and over again! I am female and I bought the men's boots and they're perfect. They are stylish and rugged. Really impressed. I wish I could post a photo of them on me! I wear a women's 9 usually but bought a men's 8.5 and the extra space feels really good for thick wooly socks and also the proper movement of my foot.

Overall Im very happy with how comfortable these boots have been, but after five months of working mostly inside a hangar on level ground with occasional work outside, the sole is separating from the boot on both sides, the aluminum toe is exposed on one, and the leather on the front is scuffed and peeling off. These boots have taken away my foot pain, but wont even last a year

I had high hopes for these boots. Worn for 6hrs and already coming apart. They were pretty comfortable waking around the job site but on ladders the bottom of my feet were sore after about 1hr of up and down. For $200 after tax I expected more. I know this may not be the norm but regardless it happened and can't say I would be able to recommend to anyone who is at least looking to get 6 months of wear. For context, I'm a carpenter so comfort is important but not at the cost of reliability.

Overall, the shoe is great. I ordered the wide toe box and it fits perfect and is very comfortable. I walk with them for at least 3 miles at work every day and my feet dont hurt.
The set-back is the sole of the right shoe that started to separate at the toe. I am currently in the warranty claim process but Im sure this will get resolved. I intend to get the same shoe again and hopefully the sole will be okay the second time around!
