I tried this jacket on in Breckenridge at the H/H store while skiing there in early February, the jackets run small so verify size. They did not have one in stock, the manager of the store was very helpful, found a jacket online, placed the order and the jacket shipped quickly and directly to me. I have used the jacket for several days already and I really like it, it fits great and is very warm. Thank you.

This is a great ski jacket with tons of great features. Most importantly it kept me warm and dry, even in cold heavy, mountaintop winds. It looks great and fits well, on size. The hood was handy and easy to tighten, even with ski gloves on. The collar is soft on the inside and just the right height. And the pockets are great, especially the netted pocket inside. It's like a bottomless pit for storing things. All around the best, most practical ski jacket I've had.

Im so impressed with this jacket. Warm, comfortable, free moving, stays dry in mixed weather (Whistler) and looks great too. Ive been wearing Arcteryx for the past 15 yrs, Im adding Helly Hansen to my favorites list.

I recently purchased the Helly Hansen LIFALOFT alpha jacket and its been one of the best purchases Ive made. Immediately I felt warm and its provided me with so much comfort in 30-40 degree weather. I havent been able to wear it in colder environments yet but it has a great fit for mid layers. I did extensive research on features I wanted in a jacket and this jacket has it all. I personally love the pockets (4 on the outside and 2 on the inside) with a goggle wipe on the inside. The ski pass pocket on the sleeve is also well placed and doesnt get in the way. The added room in the hood accommodates my goggles and helmet easily. I love how easy it is to ventilate using the vent pockets in the jacket, or even zipping up everywhere to retain a lot of warmth in the coldest weather. Would recommend this jacket to anyone looking for a quality that will last!

Great jacket. Keeps ya so warm.. water runs right off it.. I put my arm under the faucet to test it. lol only thing I wish.. I got the coat and 3 weeks later they dropped the price $110. So that kinda stinks however being a Helly Hansen jacket owner for the last 12 years. If anything goes wrong they fix or replace!!

The Alpha LIFALOFT is the most comfortable ski jacket Ive owned. It does its job in the cold and vents well on warmer sunny days. Pockets are convenient and spacious. Zippers are smooth and tough. Best of all my wife thinks I look good on the slopes!

I wore this jacket on a trip to Park City, combined with a HH puffer jacket. On our third day the winds were gusting to over 45 mph and I never felt chilled, at all. Fantastic product both functionally and looks-wise. Highly recommend.

Warm and fits well. I am 5"9 and strong around chest, the jacket fits fine. The hood is a bit short for a ski helmet, having it a bit deeper with easier pull ties would be nice

I love this jacket. I must admit I dont ski or snowboard but I wanted a warm winter jacket that wasnt crazy thick and heavy, and this jacket is just awesome. It is supremely comfortable and the protection provided from cold and wind and water is excellent. Since its intended for snowboarders the collar is very high but I like this because it protects my neck from the cold. The material and construction are luxury quality. It is a little snug in the front around the bottom again because its for boarding and it has this interior lining in the back which is meant to prevent wind and snow from kicking up under the jacket is back which takes some getting used to but its fine. Even though its for snowboarding I wear it casually every day to work and Ive gotten many compliments. The only complaint is the same with every other HH jacket Ive ever had and thats that the sleeves are too long. I dont know why they are always like that but its better than them being too small and they give you velcrow to tighten the grip around your wrists.

Just had a chance to try out this new jacket skiing in 10 degree (and below) weather and it was excellent at keeping me warm w just a couple layers on. Was skeptical at first since this is my first insulated ski jacket. Was worried Id get too hot. Not at all. Ill still wear my shell on warmer days but this is perfect for colder weather.
