Too short! This jacket is awesome in every single way except being about 2 inches too short. I did a ton of research looking at Arcteryx Macau, Spyder, and PatagoniaAlpha Lifaloft crushed them in features, quality, materials, and the most thoughtful construction of an insulated jacket which could be used skiing or around town. Its just shortmaddening because everything else about the jacket is perfect! Im 63 205 lbs and got the XLwhich is the size recommended by HH Size Finder. Because the jacket is shorter than others, it rests and above the hips/buttocks and allows drafts of cold air inunless youre walking around with the ski skirt buttoned. If you are shorter than me, you may consider the XL but it will then probably be too bulky. This literally would be a perfect jacket if HH would add 1 1/2-2 of length.

I've had my new Helly Hansen Alpha LIFALOFT insulated ski jacket for a few weeks and love it. High quality, cofortable and have received numerous compliments. Great jacket and great customer service.

Excellent overall. Interior webbed pocket is fantastic, as are the vents for those warm days.

Stylish and great fit. This is a regular fit, but more fitted than regular fit jackets from other brands.

The quality and craftsmanship are top notch. I like the easy pull of the chest zippers. I'm 5'11'' 175 and the medium fits me very well. There are cool spots under the arms even though they are zipped closed. Not much of a problem. The temp was 8 degrees. I love the hood, neck design. HH delivered the jacket quickly and on time.

Best jacket I've ever owned. Top marks for insulation & zipper and pocket strategy. Blows away brand that is twice as much(you know the one). Cut is a little slim, but I'm getting old & fat.

Recently wore on family ski trip to Colorado and this insulated jacket was everything and more! I only had a base layer, neck warmer and was plenty warm enough entire day skiing in blizzard and windy conditions. Love the ease of zippers, ventilation, wind protection, large hood over my helmet and overall looks. The comfort level and overall stretch of material perfectly aligned with my body shape and I didn't feel as if it was too tight or restrictive. If you're looking for a high quality ski jacket for all conditions, this is IT!

This jacket has been a perfect fit! Very light but warm with all the bells and whistles!

This jacket feels great to wear - it offers slim yet comfortable fit. Its insulation works great for temperatures as low as single digits F, wind protection is also excellent (especially with the hood and wind skirt). I never felt cold skiing in single digits with high winds at the top of lifts. Yet it is not too warm - so I did not sweat much. Water proofing is very decent also (not as good as GoreTex but that is also a benefit since the membrane is more breathable). One shortcoming is that it's made in China and I had a few random stitches with clearly sub-par quality in a few places, but most of the stitches and fabric seem to be holding up well. I rate quality as 4/5, fit and functionality as 5/5
