I loved these shoes right out of the box. The fit is true to size and very comfortable, the support is excellent, the style is very sharp. They were a dream to walk in, until I noticed a 'clicking' or 'cracking' sound. It was only the left shoe, so it's possible that it was defective, but I really wanted to keep these shoes so I listened very closely to see where the sound was coming from, and it's actually the fabric near the sole, around the ball of the foot. When I flexed my left foot, the fabric made a 'snapping' sound. The fabric on this part of the shoe is waterproof, and the way it flexes just makes a popping sound. I'm sadly sending them back.

I have no issues with these shoes. I did order a half size up, so the 8 fit me just fine. I didn’t have any slippage issues. I wore ankle socks with no problem. I was able to run and walk in these Chicago streets with no problem. My feet didn’t hurt or anything else afterwards either.

Typical Nike, have to size up 1/2 size. Love the color and cushion.

As another reviewer mentioned, these shoes make a clicking or popping noise mostly on the inner side of the left shoe when flexing at the ball joint. The right seems to be making a faint popping noise, but the left is definitely popping every time I take a step. I tried to adjust the laces as to tighten the shoe up, but the popping noise continues and would definitely grate on my nerves after a few minutes. So disappointing. I will be sending these back and start my search again for another pair of shoes.
