Fit: originally ordered in 11 (my normal size is 11.5). Felt like a 13. Sent back. Ordered in 10. Still a bit on the large side. "Comfort rated to -40": press 'X' to doubt. "100% waterproof"? Take with a grain (block) of salt. Heavy. Would have been fine with them being heavy if they were as warm and dry as claimed. As a Letter Carrier who walks 10+ miles a day, I can definitely recommend buying something (anything) else.

I ordered both the Sauvies Snows and the Bogs classic mids, because I wanted to decide between the two. I thought there were just aesthetic differences, but they were surprisingly different. The Classics have a heavier duty sole, while the Sauvie's sole is softer and more flexible. The Sauvie has a removable insole while the classic does not. Both boots are listed as 10" tall, but the Sauvie is about an inch lower than the classic. Though they both fit well, the Classic was much snugger in the width than the Sauvie. Even laced up, the Sauvie slips on and off easier the Classic. My impression is that you'll set the laces once, and then slip the boots on and off. I don't think they're designed to lace up every time you put them on. Both are solid and well made, but I'd say the Classic are a tougher, more serious work boot, and Sauvie are a more 'throw on to walk the dog' kinda of thing. I chose the Sauvies, because I already have a pair of Bog's Stockmans, which are some serious sh!t kickers. I love Bogs boots. They're really light for how warm and durable they are.

After 2 returns of other Bog styles, we landed on these for my husband’s outdoor winter work. He does snow removal in our montaine-urban neighborhood. Love Bogs!

I like the boots especially with the elastic rather than leather upper. Makes it easy to put on & off. Seem water proof.

I absolutely love these boots!!! I was looking for an easy on/off waterproof boot for the winter and these boots deliver. As much as I love my Ugg’s they are too expensive and not at all waterproof. I normally wear a 12W in women’s but the Bog’s women’s sizes run a bit small. A 12 in men’s fit me perfectly (so FYI even the men’s run about a size small). Good arch support, warm even without socks, they slip on & off pretty easily, and the insoles don’t pop out when they come off (like the one pair of women’s bogs I do own). I normally have a very hard time finding a winter boot that checks off all the boxes for me. In fact, I’m not sure I EVER have found a pair that really checked all those boxes, but these definitely do. I might even buy a second pair to keep in the car during winter. One of the best purchases I’ve ever made for shoes!
