They aren't quite as tall or wide in the calf as I expected, but they do the job. Wore them all day on the farm and super comfy & warm. Just not enough room for my jeans to tuck in comfortably. I suggest loosely measuring your calf with jeans on before purchase.

It runs pretty small, I almost wish I would have gotten another 1/2 size up. I'm normally a 6, got a 7 and it's still a bit tight.

I use these for gardening, mucking out the barn, and general work in tall weeds and muddy terrain. I love the way they look, but the fit is a bit funny. I ordered a full size larger than what I wear (I wear a 7 and ordered an 8) and oddly, the right foot is much tighter than the left. I am very glad that I ordered up, as I am not sure the right foot would have fit at all, nor would I have been able to remove it! The pull-on handles for these boots is a very nice feature, and these handles don't break off as the ones on other brands do, because of the way they are integrated into the actual frame of the boot itself. Buying a size larger is also important if buying the Cold or Frigid styles (this is the Classic frigid), and the reasoning is two-fold. In winter larger sizes allow you to wear the thicker socks, or even 2 pair if planning on being outdoors for extended periods. But I use the same boots - this frigid style - for my summer work too, and the larger size ensures your feet don't get as hot, there is more room to breath and move around. Your feet will still get warm in these because they are solid, waterproof, and sealed, but a little extra space helps it be more bearable than having a boot fit like a glove. These are great for wearing if walking in areas with a lot of snakes. I feel a lot safer walking out in those areas with these on, and if I see one, the height of these boots gives me the confidence to not panic, knowing that most accidental bites occur below the knee. These boots also keep the ticks from crawling up my leg, especially if I spray them with a little permethrin before hiking out where the ticks are the worst. Its probably not a good idea to do this too often, as that chemical might break down the material faster but its a way to fend off those nasty crawlies, and it does help. Overall, these boots make a huge difference in the way I work outdoors. They keep me warm in cool temps, completely dry, give me a bit of ankle support. Love'em

These boots are great. Keep your feet warm and dry. The only issue I had was getting them off. They fit good not tight anywhere, hopefully this will change once I wear them more. We just had our first big snowfall here and wore them only three times so far.

I like the look of the boat. I am just very disappointed they are not offered in half sizes. I am normally a 6-6.5 so I bought a 7 and they are definitely snug especially in the ankle. I don't think I could wear these with a thick stock. I think I will have to return these for an 8. I'm just nervous that they will be too clunky and I might trip.

Bought a pair for my dad (dairy farmer) and husband (outdoorsy guy) and they both love them! Super warm in the foot area, easy to slip on and off. The upper is not that warm but that is not an issue as they would usually be wearing warm pants & socks.

I loved these aside from one major issue - I have really high arches and these did not work for me. The top of the boot smashed into the top of my foot making for a very uncomfortable fit. Aside from that, I would have kept them. They are nice quality and keep your foot warm. My mom has a pair she wears in -30 Duluth, Minnesota winter days and swears by these to keep her feet warm. I would definitely recommend the boots with handles - they allow you to pull them on easily. If high arches aren't an issue for you, definitely buy!

I LOVED these boots, my Mom got them for me in a size 11, they were too tight on the top of my foot, long enough... just too tight. I traded them for a size 12 hoping it would give me more room. Too tight still... I couldn't even get them on with a sock. I traded them for the lace up style in an 11 which fixed the issue, but they aren't as cute as these plaid styles.

Front inside seam rubbed my skin raw so covered the seam with duck tape. Also calf high sock would do the job. Definitely need warm socks in cold snow weather up here in Wisconsin where we are plowing snow Dec 12

I love these boots! They look great & are very warm. Only issue is it's a little difficult to push my jeans down into them. Other than that I love them!

I NEED good quality shoes, I wear these bogs at least 4 Hrs a day, they need to be comfortable and have support. When I wear junky shoes my back and knees will hurt, there is no discomfort with these boots. I will be calling up and getting a bigger size. I like the fact that Bogs will stand behind their product, If I have a issue they will cover it with little issues, this is why I prefer bogs to muck brand.

I'm a dairy farmer so I have bought a lot of different mud boots in my life. These are super cute! And comfy. The only downside is they are slippery. Just have to be a little more careful on the wet floors.

Great pair of boots for winter activities. They are a bit wide (but I have narrow feet) and seem a bit stiff for the first several wears. I have only worn them 4-5 times and they are still a bit stiff. They keep my feet warm and dry.

The pull-on handles allow snow to fall into shoe, so I consider it design flaw.

I love these boots but have to get the children's version because I have such a small foot. The problem with that is the children's version is not as tall as the adult version, so they don't come up as high as I need them too. PLEASE make them in a size 5 for adults. I'm sure you would have more of a customer base than you realize for such a size.

I am happy with how comfortable these boots are. It's really fantastic to wear them and they convert easily farm a tall warm to a shorter cooler version by just folding over the tops. They are warm and feel great to wear.

I am a freshman at Washington State University and I needed something for the winters here in Pullman. I am also part of our dairy club so I often go and work on the dairy cow farm, I also volunteer with horses and these boots are perfect for that. Being at WSU gives a person "Cougar Calves" (big/muscly calves) from all the hills so they are a bit tight in that region on me. But other than that they are amazing!

Great pull on boot for yard tasks and stand hunting in temps above freezing. Might be rated for -40 but anything below 32 and your feet are going to get cold. After a year of use the foot bed will come loose and buckle as you remove the boot. Not necessarily a bad thing as you can air out the boot/foot bed with it out. After 2 years of use they are still fully serviceable and I would buy another pair if/when these fail. *Note: These are sold as 10" high boots. The height to the bottom of the hand holes is actually 9" and the top of the boot is 11 1/2". I purchased 1/2 size larger to accommodate heavy socks and that works well for me. The upper of the boot allows most jeans/sweat pants to be pulled over them.

I volunteer at The Marine Mammal Center and these boots are a must! Good, grippy soles help keep me upright (instead of my backside) and they keep my feet warm and dry. I wish they were a *bit* more supportive but, to be fair, I'm wearing them for 8+ hours at night after a full day of work at my 9-5 job so...

My brother has size 12 in the Tradesmen. I have a wide foot. Usually a 12.5 2E. I didn't expect them to fit, but they fit phenomenally well. I went out to the department store he purchased them at to get a pair of my own. They did not have that model in stock so I tried on the 12's in this model, but they were too snug across the top of my foot and would have induced cramps with longer wear. The 13's seemed a little too loose. About a month later I called Bogs direct to try and find a solution. They reccomended a 13 and gave me a discount for the slight lack of consistency in sizing across their models. I wear the 13's now, and although they are not quite as form fitting as I'd like, they certainly do their job, and well.

I live in Brooklyn,NY that should tell you that the winters are hard, ugly and difficult to navigate for a full day out in a world where the weather is miserable, and the offices are probably over heated. I have UGGS, I hate them. Boggs seemed to be a great alternative and they are warm, comfortable suit my purpose of getting through all parts of the city, in all kind of weather BUT (and I have no idea how to solve this) they are really, really hard to take off when you get home and all you want to do is get into your comfy shoes. I have the high boots and a suggestion is to always plan on wearing knee socks, just for you own comfort.
