Bogs was nice enough to replace my original pair of Mid Size because of the ash white effect after using for a while. The replacement pair inherited the same issue. I'm guessing the foot sweats and body chemistry affects the finish of the boot to a pale white color.

I'm returning these because I want knee high boots. I wish they hadn't shown in a search for 'tall boots'- I found that misleading. I'd rathe pay more and get actually tall boots (these were at a great discount).

I love them but on this style is better to order half size bigger.

We live in northwest Montana and get enough snow to need extra warmth and no handles letting snow into the boot. And rugged enough for miscellaneous chores and activities. These work beautifully. The only reason this did not get 5 stars is because for some inexplicable reason, Bogs has narrowed their boots in the both the toe box and at the top of the boot. Bogs, we ladies need our toes to wiggle and have room for winter socks without being in a boot one size bigger so we don't constantly trip over a length unnatural to us and also which still does not widen the toe box to any useful degree. And in the winter we wear multiple layers and sweats and work pants and quite frankly a skinny boot leg does not allow us to deal with all that extra material. The men's boots still get it. Please make women's work boots real work boots and not fashion designer boots. Thank you.

This winter has been so wet, muddy, and cold -- my old Bogs are 15 years old and I love them but I felt the first bit of water in them and bought these new ones just in case. I love them -- I forgot how sturdy the new ones are. My only problem is I need a new boot jack to get them on and off!

Great boot- I bought it because of the -40 rating. they keep my foot warm, but at -10 and with wool socks on, my toes got cold. I love how they fit when I slid them on. Great packaging and swift service.

I'm a rural mail carrier. It's a struggle to keep my feet warm while driving the cold mail truck. Since these boots are rated to -40 I hoped my feet would stay toasty warm. I stayed pretty comfortable in the 30s, but my feet got cold while driving when temps dropped in to the teens and below. They were warmer while walking, but I still wouldn't say toasty. I normally wear a size 10 but went up to an 11 to allow room for heavy socks. I have plenty of room. A size 10 1/2 would have been nice. The boots have reliable tread and have kept my feet dry while trudging through snow and slush. Overall I'm pretty happy with the boots. I was just hoping to be warmer.

Living in Maine, boots are important. I would buy another pair of these in a heartbeat. I wish it had bigger tread on the bottom and more style options.

I love these boots, I just wish the wide calf was an inch or two wider and that they offered other styles.

Wish the boots were less chunky but over all they do the job .. Keep feet dry and warm .. Would be great if boots came in 1/2 size

Super warm but a tad tight in the foot bed. Great vintage print! Perfect for cold Vermont winters and muddy springs.

I have a farm. I wore my old bogs for nearly 7 years! Just purchased these! They are sturdy, warm and work great in snow, mud, rain and puddles. I love them, but have two complaints; the 6 is tight, the 7 loose! I kept the 7, as I would rather have them larger, than not at all. Second, the ankle area is quite stiff where the floral pattern rises. Making driving a huge issue. I'm hoping they'll break in, as I love them otherwise! Warm, dry feet are a must and they are the best boots around.

Love this boot. This is my second pair. I practically wore through the soles of my previous pair. I took one star off only because my first pair was never quite waterproof and after a short time wouldn't keep my socks dry. I just had to make sure to wear them on dry days. Also, they are snug fit. I don't mind as I wear thin socks but if they came in half sizes, I would have bought a half size up. The pattern is awesome. A nice alternative to just a plain black boot. You won't be disappointed!

This is my second pair of Bogs Boots, wore my first pair pretty much every day in winter on Cape Cod, rain snow beach with my dog. First pair got a crack and started a small leak, still won't throw them out after 3 years, also good for bad feet! Love Bogs!

Had to return! Love Bogs and wanted to enjoy them. I don't have a large foot, ankle, or calf but it was difficult even getting them on. The problem is navigating my foot through the ankle portion of the boot. Got my heel hung up and had to pull hard and wiggle to get it on. No fun. Returned.

After 8 years of wearing my first pair of Bogs nearly every day( sun, rain, sleet and snow) either walking my dog, gardening, working, shoveling snow or whatever I wore them completely out. I loved my Bogs! I did not want to give them up. I have now received my new pair and plan to do the same with these. I hope I become as attached as I did with my last pair.

super comfy, great handles for easy pull on. I've got large calves so the fit was important

Field training with dogs. Love the pattern on the neoprene. Heels rub a bit. My last pair did to but eventually wore down that area. Fit is great.

They aren't quite as tall or wide in the calf as I expected, but they do the job. Wore them all day on the farm and super comfy & warm. Just not enough room for my jeans to tuck in comfortably. I suggest loosely measuring your calf with jeans on before purchase.

It runs pretty small, I almost wish I would have gotten another 1/2 size up. I'm normally a 6, got a 7 and it's still a bit tight.

I use these for gardening, mucking out the barn, and general work in tall weeds and muddy terrain. I love the way they look, but the fit is a bit funny. I ordered a full size larger than what I wear (I wear a 7 and ordered an 8) and oddly, the right foot is much tighter than the left. I am very glad that I ordered up, as I am not sure the right foot would have fit at all, nor would I have been able to remove it!
The pull-on handles for these boots is a very nice feature, and these handles don't break off as the ones on other brands do, because of the way they are integrated into the actual frame of the boot itself. Buying a size larger is also important if buying the Cold or Frigid styles (this is the Classic frigid), and the reasoning is two-fold. In winter larger sizes allow you to wear the thicker socks, or even 2 pair if planning on being outdoors for extended periods. But I use the same boots - this frigid style - for my summer work too, and the larger size ensures your feet don't get as hot, there is more room to breath and move around. Your feet will still get warm in these because they are solid, waterproof, and sealed, but a little extra space helps it be more bearable than having a boot fit like a glove.
These are great for wearing if walking in areas with a lot of snakes. I feel a lot safer walking out in those areas with these on, and if I see one, the height of these boots gives me the confidence to not panic, knowing that most accidental bites occur below the knee. These boots also keep the ticks from crawling up my leg, especially if I spray them with a little permethrin before hiking out where the ticks are the worst. Its probably not a good idea to do this too often, as that chemical might break down the material faster but its a way to fend off those nasty crawlies, and it does help.
Overall, these boots make a huge difference in the way I work outdoors. They keep me warm in cool temps, completely dry, give me a bit of ankle support. Love'em

These boots are great. Keep your feet warm and dry. The only issue I had was getting them off. They fit good not tight anywhere, hopefully this will change once I wear them more. We just had our first big snowfall here and wore them only three times so far.
