I needed snow boots that would keep my feet warm through several walks a day with my husky last year and these were awesome. I walked miles in my first pair of these without my feet getting cold or wet. I gave the first pair to a family member who needed some boots and bought these to replace them, and so far it's the same soft, delightful experience. I wear a 7.5 usually, and an 8 in these boots fit perfectly. If it helps to know, I wear a 7 in Bogs rainboot and the 8 in this boot.

Lived in these boots last winter having to walk my german shepherd puppies every day, snow or shine. Love them, bought another pair, not because the 1st pair wore out, just to have another color option. Great traction on ice, snow. Warm and toasty without being hot. I put them on at 6 am and wear til 6 pm.

I just received my BOGs boots in time for my trip to Scandanavia. I love that they are easy to pull on, feel very comfortable, are stylish and are warm. I can't wait to see how they do in Scandinavia.

These are the first boots that keep my feet warm! They are stylish and comfortable right out of the box. They are not high, and I have not tried walking through snow higher than the tops, but for the snow we have, they are wonderful. I don't have to worry about puddles or slush because they are waterproof. Also, the soles are thick enough to keep the cold out, but not so clunky as to make driving difficult. If I regularly tromped through high snow or streams, I would buy the higher Bogs boots. But for my purposes of getting me to and from work and general errands while warm and comfortable, these are the boots for me. I highly recommend them!!

I live in Wisconsin where it's cold and snowy, the first thing that gets cold is my feet!! i have tried a few different brands of boots(Sorel & Columbia) that claim they keep your feet warm but they really don't, until now!! i was hesitant to spend the money & try another brand but with another cold winter upon us, i bit the bullet and tried the BOGS Arcata boots, they really do work, my feet have yet to get cold. THANK YOU BOGS!!!

These are my favorite boots of all time! They are so comfortable, and warm. I need a wider toe box and these are a perfect fit - they give my toes lots of room - most boots leave my toes feeling cramped up. They are also much lighter than most boots that I have owned. And soooo easy to get on and off. I used to dread having to wear boots, not anymore.

I love these. I normally wear an 8.5. I tried on a 9 and they were a little loose in the heel, so I got an 8. They were a little on the snug side with thick socks, but I think with more wear they will fit better. I love that there's no boot insert.

Boots are so warm! The handles make it easy to get boots on quickly. Very comfortable! I'm plus size and no issues with fitting around calf! Great buy!

I got these boots for our cold & snowy Michigan winters based on a friends recommendation. I mostly needed them for playing in the snow with the kids and when the weather is just too snowy and slushy. I wore them while walking/standing in snow for about 30 mins. while the kids were playing outside & my toes just barely started to feel a little bit cold. However, the temp was in the single digits w/ a wind chill, I had on only one pair of regular socks, and I was standing around in ankle/calf deep snow almost the whole time. I'm sure if I was actually walking around or shoveling, or even just had warmer/2 pairs of socks I wouldn't have felt cold at all. They're also pretty comfortable for boots and have good traction. For basic use, I think these are perfect. If you're hunting or hiking in extreme cold & deep snow, they may not be what you need.

So far, I have really enjoyed this shoe. It fits as expected, I wear a 7 tennis shoe, and ordered size 7. It fits comfortably and I can even were thick socks if needed. they seem durable and so far have been good to wear in water without trouble. I assume wearing them in snow weather will also prove valuable.

This boots, size 9M, arrived timely, were nicely packaged and fit perfectly and as expected. I have worn them a lot and find them incredibly easy to put on and comfortable to wear. Moreover they are attractive. In deep snow, some minimal snow can get in through the handle hole but even with our recent 18 inches of snow, it has not been a noticeable problem. When walking my dog daily, I climb hills and walk through meadows of snow while wearing them. They also are easy to take off and dry quickly.

My Arkata knit boots are on my feet right now. Temperature is 27F. Snow on the ground in Glacier, Montana. Feet are warm and dry even being in the snow almost all day.
