These were so close. The fit was good, the shape is good, they feel solid and well made. I know the arch is supposed to feel different in these, and at least there IS a good amount of arch support and some contour to the sole, but it felt plastic-y and like it might take a lot of breaking in. They seem like great shoes, and are some of the most stylish I’ve seen that are also pragmatic, but they were just not quite good enough for my feet to keep (I went with one by Born)

Very well made shoe with good support. Looks great. Did not keep them because the bottom of the shoe felt a little unstable like it could tip side to side. I'm 72 so I have to be careful.

These are very roomy which my foot likes. The style is a little chunky but that seems to beain "in" thing. I like the removable inserts so I can use my orthotics although its comfortable with just the inserts too. The shoes came with black laces and gray too. Looks a little hipper with the gray.

I normally wear a 10.5 with orthotics. This 10.5-11 (42) is big. I will try a 10 (41). I have long narrow feet with narrow heels and slightly widening forefeet due to bunions (but still need narrower shoes). Aetrex width seem to run narrower (good for me!) . Lacing feels snug, height is right and lots of room in the toes. I wish they were leather instead of nubuck (hard to clean). Hoping to also find more colors to try. This color is more of a fall color but works for other seasons.

Cute shoes but heel was too wide. Even with thick socks my heels slipped up and down. Not sure the shoes would stay on.

The fit was good, style not bad and the arch support was excellent for me.

Initially, I liked the shoes. I changed my mind after trying them on; I did not care for the fit. They felt slightly smaller than the size 8 I ordered. The width was okay. I sent them back because I just didn’t like them enough to try an 8.5.

Shoe well-made and style is fine, but as mentioned in description, arch support sits farther back in shoe and I believe it is not the right solution for my plantar fasciitis.

This is the style I was looking for. I had not worn this brand before. The quality is excellent. They are really a cute shoe! However, they were huge. They were about an inch too long. The sizing should have been correct, 5 - 51/2, but just didn't work.

Nice looking with a nice roomy toe box, but I needed something else—maybe more padding in the forefoot area, maybe a thicker sole, maybe more of a rocker action. Not sure what I needed but I knew when I’d walked a short distance in the house that these weren’t the shoes my bad feet and bad back needed for long walks. I wish they were. I usually like Aetrex.

Nice shoe! Great height for me. Seems wider than some so I'll try a smaller size. I fit in a 41 Naot usually, this one is a bit longer. Lots of room in toes which is rare. I wear an orthotic but this insole is supportive. I am now trying one with orthotic and one with insole and will say the insole offers nice support in arch. Style kinda cute, different. Wish the grey was in stock though!

I have an older pair of this shoe and loved it for several years. This shoe seems to be stiffer and cut a bit higher around the ankle. So I have to return not comfortable for me.

Ordered medium width found to be too narrow. Need the wide width

I like these shoes however, I should have ordered the Wide. I can never tell with my feet what will work. I am exchanging these for a wide. I just hope the heel will not be too loose.

My usual 9.5 Wide was too small in the toe box. The color "warm grey" is more of a taupe, but they are stylish.

I wear 8 in most shoes, 8.5 in sneakers. I got size 38 and they fit well, so maybe they run slightly big. They're very cute - in sort of a bowling shoe way. I love them but will return because the heel squishes when I walk. Does not make noise, but not very stable for walking. Too bad all the cushioning is not firm. I've never felt this in a shoe.

I did not like how the inside of the shoe "slopes" so much and also there is a noticeable "drop off" in the support right before my toes start. You can easily feel the "drop off" in the cushion. I did like the look of the shoe and am sorry they do not work for me.

I really loved the look of these and wanted them to work. I have several pairs of Aetrex sandals and love them so I had high hopes for these oxfords. Every day that I wore these to work, however, I had a plantar fasciitis flare up by mid-afternoon. I finally decided to return/exchange them and contacted Aetrex more than 4 times via email, twice via phone. Aetrex has not stood by its promise to exchange the shoes for another product which is very disappointing.

The overall fit was fine. The heel and arch support were what I expected from Aetrex. However, the ball of the foot has no cushion at all. It feels like that part of the foot was walking on bare ground. So sad because they are a cute shoe, but too uncomfortable to keep.
