I liked how they looked, but the toe box tapered too much for me and there was not enough room for my toes to spread as I stepped. Already had the 11, so I couldn't order up. Returned. Would have also preferred the soles to have more traction for a winter boot. The heels were very cushiony and comfortable.

Love these in the burgundy lots of compliments

I like these boots. They are very warm and definitely waterproof. I normally wear a 10 or 10.5 and ended up keeping 10.5-11 for these boots, so I feel like they run a little small. I needed the larger size for the toe room, but now my heel slips a little. The laces are really long and I have to tuck them into the boots. The upper plaid detail is super cute.

I really wanted to like these boots; I have tried on my sis-in-law's Aetrex shearling style boots and really loved the arch support, but I wanted a more hiking style boot for walking around the school campus where I work. Unfortunately after trying these on, the 'hyper' inner support of these made me feel like I was always pitching forward when walking in them. They also made my feet look strangely compressed even though I am a size 9-9.5 and am 5' 9". I just may not have as much of a need for so much arch support with a more structured lace-up style boot. I am going to try again with a different style of Aetrex however because the overall quality of the boot, the laces, everything, were great.
