The boot seems to be designed to keep your foot really stable which is good but the interior of the boot has lots of little indentions to hold your foot still which is probably fine when you're boarding down the mountain but just walking 3ft was too painful. I like having the support, I just wish it would have been a little softer and not so painful to wear. Normally a 7.5, I ordered an 8 and they fit like a 7.5 but we're simply just too uncomfortable for my foot. If you have narrow feet and thick socks, this boot may be great for you.

The foot last of this boot fits my petite size 6.5 perfectly. This is one of the very few boots made in small sizes for aggressive female riders. The heel boa is a game changer. This boot takes me any place I want to ride free. Kudos to Vans for representing the full spectrum of performance demands for women and girls. I've ridden Vans boots since 2002 and expect to for another 24 years.

Companies say true to size. These are not true to size. I am 6.5. I ordered 6.5. I couldnt get my foot in. These are maybe 1 size too small. I would have to order a 7.5. I will still give Vans 5 stars because the return policy and process is seamless. THANK YOU. I WILL ORDER FROM YOU AGAIN.

My son loved these boots. Yes I know they are woman's boots but based on his foot size woman's size 9 fit him better than men's size 8. He claims his feet have never been this warm while snowboarding and no pain. Chances are we will only get one season out of them before he outgrows them but we will see.

Love this boot so much, nice and stiff and packs out quickly. My BOA ripped out of the bottom within the first few days of the season and Vans honored their "one season warranty" so I could get another pair. Great on groomers, super responsive and gives me plenty of control in the park.

This is my second pair of Encore Pros, I bought them again because they are so comfortable right out of the box. The old pair got a bit packed out after a few seasons and I started having foot pain, which new insoles helped with, but new boots are better. My first pair of Encore Pros were the first full-BOA boots I had purchased and I was nervous they wouldn't hold up, but they exceeded expectations and still crank down perfectly - the liner cinch is easy to use as well. I am a huge fan, the flex makes them easy to hike in and responsive when riding. I noticed that the Men's version of these boots, the Aura Pro, have a reinforced toe cap. My old Encore Pros held up great on the toe cap with no damage, but somehow I have already dented in the toe cap of one of my new boots and the fabric is broken. It probably happened from pressing the tip of my splitboard on it while transitioning, so I guess my bad, but this is something I do frequently and it's weird it never happened with the old boots. It would be great if Vans could add this reinforced toe cap feature to the Encore Pro. #sweepstakes

I haven't used these on the mountain yet but definitely size up. I have always been a 7 in vans and the 8's barely fit. Super comfy though

These keep my feet warm on really cold snowy days on the mtn. First time in boas & still getting used to how to loosen the ankle which is a bit tight.

I'm normally a size US 7 but I went a half size larger for comfort because these boots are very stiff. I am returning however because the quality of the boots are not as good as last years' Encore Pro boots. I can see visible shabby manufacturing and the fabric was already loose at the stitching when I received it. Very unhappy with the quality of this boot this year.

The boot is soft. The top of the liner above the toe box is hard so after riding a few hours the top of your foot hurts

If you like an extremely stiff boot- you will like this boot. It was extremely hard to put on even completely opened up. Not comfortable to walk in at all. I ordered my usual size of an 8 and a half size up as an 8.5 and both were just not comfortable at all. Personally I will go back to a Burton boot which provides support & is comfortable to wear.
