These boots are horrible. There is something wrong in the heel ankle construction. They create intense ankle pain. They are basically unwearable. I would advise VAN to discontinue these boots as it's borderline fraud selling these to people. I also was recommended these through curated and can't wear or return them. They are brand new and unwearable. Anyone review that claims these are great boots is a fake review, plain and simple.

I wish I could rate this a zero. The boot is poorly designed. The first pair I bought broke within 5 used. The boa came out of the stitching. I sent them back and got a refund. Stupidly I bought the same exact pair and the same exact thing happened. When I tried to go back to get a refund they claimed it was a boa malfunction and I needed to contact them however the boa was still in tact and the stitching is just very poor. Overall very disappointed by vans, I would strongly recommend not buying snowboard boots from them unless you want to waste your money.

Vans has the worst customer service issues I've ever encountered. About 25 days on mountain and the stitching is coming apart between the boot and boa wire. After contacting Vans for repair or replacement, they could care less. I understand normal shoes but expensive technical snowboard boots that are the PRO model should hold up better. I've been a lifelong customer. Really sucks how bad customer service is there.

2023 model boots are the worst! Just like everyone said the ankle pain is terrible. I rode these 5 times thinking they would break in but they never did, super painful. I also reached out to Vans and they were even worse. Since I bought them on offerup they said the warranty was not valid. I told them these are 2023 and it shouldn't matter where I bought them, Vans should stand by there products but they disagreed. The worst customer experience ever. BUY BURTON where they at least fix the issue regardless of where you buy it from.

Bought these to replace my 12 year old DC boots. Thought they felt comfortable at first and figured the heel lock would be nice but after riding for 2 days the outside of my ankles mostly under the bone are bruised and hurt like crazy. I typically like vans but would not recommend these.

I wore the boots for 11 days last year and both side boas stopped loosening when reaching out to customer service they provided zero help said my warranty was 7 days past and then would not provide me any additional Information on how to fix the boa. Boots are not very comfortable cheap materials and break easil. spend the money on a nice pair from NOT vans!

Why is my right outside ankle just bruising up every time I ride. Vans I need some type of reimbursement or a way to fix this problem. I'm pretty much just wearing these to look cool at this point. SPAIN without the S.

Horrible pressure points causing pain even when I'm not riding. Just wearing them can cause a lot of pain. Broke within 2 seasons, not a good build quality.

Construction in right boot is flawed and causes extreme ankle pain. These boots are unwearable. I would recommend Nidecker or Rome

I am a vans fanatic (have about 20 pairs of vans shoes). These boots look great, but mine are already destroyed after 1 season of use (20 trips).

I purchased these at the recommendation of an "expert" at Curated.com. I should have heeded everyone else's reviews. Wore these for half a day and my heels and ankles were killing me. Thankfully I brought my old boots with me, otherwise my day would have been ruined. The boot is soft and does not give much support for aggressive riding. They're wider than a lot of boots, too which made it interesting to try and fit my Flow NX2 bindings.Bottom line keep looking, but whatever you do, do NOT buy these boots!

The Ankle portion of the liner is so uncomfortable I couldn't board my 2nd day on the mountain. The shop I bought them at offered to warm up the liner so they mold better to my feet and vans said this voids the warranty which is unheard of, they are going to mold regardless once they pack out, this just speeds up that process. I am going to sell these at a loss most likely and switch back to Burton or another company that properly backs their products.

I bought a pair of these today. When I tried them on at the store they felt fine but I was also kind of in a hurry. When I got home I took some time to read some reviews and a lot of people are saying they are painful in the ankles. So I strapped them on and walked around my house and within five minutes, sure enough I felt seemingly the exact ankle pain people are describing in the reviews. So glad I am experiencing this pain now in my house and not on the mountain. These are going back first thing tomorrow!! Very very disappointing, especially that they are Vans. DON'T BUY THESE.

Bought this boot last year, like other reviewers I've noticed ankle pains. At first I thought it was normal before break in but I was disappointed when the pain did not stop.
Overall a good boot but the side-of-ankle pain is just a bummer on a "pro" product.

I bought these when they first came out to upgrade from my OG laced Vans snowboots since these had the BOA system. The first couple times I wore them they hurt my ankles/lower shin area on both legs so much but I still gave them the benefit of the doubt since Vans is a reputable brand and knows their snow boots (or so I thought). I kept telling myself that I needed to break them in. So I stuck stretchers inside and wore them around the house to try and break them in before my next snow trip. They still hurt but I still thought maybe if I try to stretch them out overnight they will be good to go for my next day boarding. Nope. I took them on my trip and every minute in these boots hurt so much. They were slowly bruising me more and more and by the end of the day it was so unbearable that I could barely walk. Days later and my ankles and shins are still bruised and hurting. So I decided to look up the reviews on this boot and I come to find that everyone is having this same issue. When I bought these boots I didn't think to look up reviews because who would've thought that VANS, a known and reputable brand, would release a new snow boot that hurts you? At this point It's outside of any return window and I forced myself to keep wearing them several times because I trusted Vans and thought it was me just needing to do my part and spend more time breaking them in more than any boot should require, but again, Vans is a reputable brand so who am I to think it's them and not me, right? Anyway, that's $300 down the drain. I've lost my trust and loyalty to Vans snow gear and am very hesitant to buy another pair from them again.

So disappointed with these boots. Like other reviewers, I feel the sharp pain behind my right ankle. Part of the construction just seems to be way off and there is something that digs into the ankle. Unfortunately it's unbearable and totally kills a day on the hill. Worn my new boots twice, can't wear them anymore. To me, this is a construction issue/poor design and Vans should be refunding on these boots.

I bought these last year (2021) and dealt with some serious inner ankle pain as some other reviewers mentioned. I thought I would just need to break them in, but even after a full season last year, I'm still experiencing the same discomfort this season. Side BOAs don't feel like they do anything, and the front ones loosen up significantly after just 1-2 runs. Would definitely NOT recommend.

Less than 15 days of snowboarding on these boots in total. The sole has completely separated from the boot and the side boa broke...very disappointed that a boot with this name behind it is this cheaply made.

I bought these boots hoping they would be just like everything I know Vans to be. Unfortunately, after one full season, I'm back on the market looking for a new pair of snowboarding boots because I can't ride with these boots. I've never had issues in the past with ankle pinching and even pressure points but no matter what I do these boots hurt my feet and it's to the point where j have to end my days early because I need to get out of my boots. The dual boas work okay, but honestly just feels like it's cutting off circulation and not really holding me heel or foot with the boot, if that makes sense. I'm sort of bummed about these boots because these things aren't cheap.

I have the 2020 model of the Aura Pro, bought them in 2021 from a ski shop on a trip out west. I have roughly 10-15 full days on the slopes in these boots . Like another reviewer, I could not get over a sharp pain in my in my inner ankle! I thought maybe something was sticking out inside but I could not isolate the cause of this. After wearing them all day my ankle would be so sore, like a rock was in the boot the entire time. Very disappointed with this purchase, given the price point. Would definitely not recommend these.
