I've used this on many trips now. I used it on a 3 week tour of the desert southwest, a week long trip to europe, a long weekend of mountain biking and more. The organization in this is awesome and it eliminates the need for any packing cubes. I was able to fit a weeks worth of clothes, a 2 person tent, sleeping bag, and minimalist cookset in this pack...and still manage to get it on the airplane.

12 Day European trip that included planes, trains, and taxis. Fit in the bin of an A380-800 very nicely. Very easy to pack. Top stash pocket was perfect for my 3oz. liquids and all my charging cords. RFID pocket was super handy for my passport. I could have packed in more than I did and actually hauled some of my wife's stuff too. Only drawback is that I wish the zipper on the front panel zip around a little further than it did. Sometime it was tough to get at items in those pockets because the flap was in the way.

Unfortunately Osprey chose a material that is a lesser quality product than I've come to expect from them. It is made with a plastic type material that shows significant wear the second you get it. Osprey does not have an almighty guarantee for wear and tear. If you want a product that will last and look good while it does, this bag is not it.

This is a great travelling bag, I also own a Transporter duffel bag 40L and a Snow Kit duffel 44L. The Transporter Carry own is so far my favorite, I have taken it on two 8 day trips to Europe and it has performed in an excellent way, it has more than enough room, the fact that opens up like a suitcase if what I like the best. Two cons: It is a little heavy and the material will show some wear almost immediately, if this bag was made of a different, lighter material it would be perfect. Another change I would like to see is for the bag to have handles on all sides like the Transporter duffel bag, since the bag can get a little heavy, this would be a great feature when putting it and puling it off the overhead compartment on the plane.

I have to stand outdoors for hours in all kinds of weather. Purchased this bag to keep my supplies in. Mostly medical supplies that I need to keep dry and have quick access to. Most marketed travel medical bags are way overpriced and not waterproof. This is very water resistant but the seams are the issue. If you're outside for 30min or less it will do fine. But for no extra cost osprey could have made it way better.. please make a redesign with sealed seams.. Since this is TPU fabric it could have been heat sealed or stitched and taped. Everything else about this bag is fantastic. Osprey please remake with sealed seams! I will be sealing them myself to make it waterproof.

I am a remote worker who uses a large 17" laptop. I move between my apartment, girlfriends house, and community work spaces by car, foot, and bike. The backpack carry option with hip belt is a must have for me as well as a padded sleeve for my laptop. The zipper length accessing the 17" laptop sleeve is 1" too short. My laptop couldn't make the turn without cutting the extra material (zipper stash?). So, I had to cut my brand new pack in order to fit my laptop. After the mod, it barely goes in and out. I say, increase this zipper opening by 2".
