This is a high end gym/pool bag in my case. It holds everything and has a zippered place for everything, too. It could easily work as a daily carry or even a week long travel bag if you pack minimally, too. Its comfy and very well designed. The coating is very weather and water resistant and its so easy to access everything with the big bucket top and plenty of side zippered pockets, too. I really like the teal color and was lucky that Osprey put it on sale, too. The only downside is the hip belt. It is just a think strap to hold the bag in place if you happen to be on a bike but it provides zero support otherwise. I don't need a hip belt anyway but I wanted to note this for the review in case someone does.

Excellent construction. Very functional design. Perfect to carry my work laptop and iPad simultaneously plus tons of gear/extra material. It's pretty light considering how durable it's built. Looks fantastic. Haven't tested water resistance but it checks the eye test. Buy!

I travel a lot for work and a good amount of times there's a lot of overnight trips. Just need a couple pairs of pants, undergarments, toiletry items, huge 40oz water bottle and your electronics? This is the bag for you. I did a LOT of research and I found this bag because I like the "bucket style" backpacks that allow you to stuff items in versus the "clam shell" bags that completely zip flat. The rain resistant Material is ideal for keeping your things dry

I have been bike commuting to work and taking this bag to the climbing gym for about a month and a half now. I debated between the smaller transporter packs and packs from other companies, but chose this one because of the simplicity of the design and capacity. I am really happy with this pack and it feels like Osprey thought of everything. Generally when I leave my house in the morning, my pack is full with climbing gear, a change of workout clothes, work shoes, my laptop, a book or two and breakfast and lunch. I have not had any problems fitting all the items I need, yet the shape is compact so the bag does not get in the way when I'm riding my bike, even when it's full. I also appreciate the bike light attachment on the back of the pack and all of the extra stash pockets. I've gotten lots of compliments on the pack and would highly recommend this pack for commuting.

Context: College tech student with lots of gadgets in my bag (laptop, ipad, external keyboard, some books and stationaries) I came from a pixel, which I absolutely adored, so when I decided to make a jump to a new bag, I did not hesitate to get another bag from osprey. Straight up, the Transporter zip top caught my attention due to its unique shape. But alas, when I did get the bag, the unique shape of the bag spelled its downfall. 1. Because of the unique shape, the bag has to be filled to the brim in order for the shape to stay. Now I assumed that this wouldn't be the case before I order as I thought the materials would be rigid enough for the shape to hold. a. Unfortunately, it wasn't. So what happens is that the bag collapses on itself if there isn't enough items in the bag. And trust me, it isn't easy to fill this bag. It's a good 30L which means you really would have to be filled with LOTS of stuff, in order for the shape to hold. 2. The inner design of the laptop sleeve. They seemed to have changed the design between their pixel and this transporter bag. Previously, the sleeve is part of the entire component of the bag in their pixel. But for their transporter zip top, they seemed to have separated this. What happens then, is that the main component of the bag has a hollow bottom (like a cave) that just makes the bag awkward when putting documents. Documents can't sit flat inside the bag (see picture 2) and I just don't feel secure putting my items (such as a keyboard) inside of it due to the off chance that it snaps.
