The shoe is very attractive. It was tight with light weight Socklets. It doesn’t breathe. I was expecting rain but it turned sunny and hot. I thought my feet would suffocate. Glad I had brought a pair of sandals. If I had not worn the shoes out of the house that morning, I would return. I don’t expect to wear these again.

These look nice for teaching and are almost as comfortable as sneakers. I needed new work shoes because I have plantar fasciitis in both feet. This shoe had enough arch support that I don't need an orthotic and my feet did not as much as ybey usually do after standing for 8 hours.

My teenager loved the style but had a difficult time getting her foot into the shoe. She finally did but did not even try the other shoe on because she said they felt small narrow, and hurt her feet. Back to looking for different brand for sensitive footed daughter. ÷(

The arch support was so so. I will be putting in a liner that has more arch support. I was able to wear these for a full day of teaching.

For my wife, finding the right shoes is very difficult. The Rockport Cobb boot is very beautiful and well made shoe, unfortunately, the size 7 1/2 was too big, the 7 was compressing a bit the toes. Somebody else would find them just great shoes because in fact they are.

It pains me to have to return them. They look really cute and I like that the heels are moderate and steady, and that they are waterproof (lots of rain around here). Unfortunately, they (the top side) are very stiff and uncomfortable, prob. because of the waterproof feature. My previous two Cobb Hill are very soft and comfortable from the get go so I will have to exchange them for another model hoping the latter will work better.

Love, love, love this shoe. I put them on right out of the box and taught all day in it and my feet didn't hurt!

I love Cobb Hill. I return to Cobb Hill because of quality and style. The major plus to Cobb Hill is that the boots fit. It is true what most people say that you can wear them right out of the box. I wear a size 9 - wide. If it wasn’t for Zappos I would not be wearing comfortable boots because most brick and mortar stores do not carry wide sizes. I do agree with some reviews that it takes effort to slide your foot in the boot, but as I wear them the leather is getting pliable so that won’t be a problem later. I wear the boot all day without any complaints. They are comfortable and stylish and they have great support. They are worth the price.

Fit perfectly! I have plantar fasciitis and I've worn them all day with no pain. Worn them in the rain, on a boat and on a train -- just kidding. But I have worn them in the rain and the snow and they still look like new.

So glad they offer a narrow width option. The narrows were a great fit, true to size, and the style is fun.

My feet: flat, narrow heel, very low instep (low volume), skinny ankles. Pretty much duck feet. These are really nice boots. Well made and unique looking. I ordered a bunch of booties and these are a finalist. Other reviewers said they found them hard to get on and off. This wasn't a problem for me because I have a low instep. I think if you have an average instep, it should be fine but if you have a high instep, I could see where this could be a problem. They slip a little, which surprised me since I ordered a narrow. My foot is usually a 9 in length and an 8.5 in width, which is why I need the 9N but I have a little room in the length so I might try the 8.5 M and N to compare.

I decided to order 1/2 size larger to have room for socks. Glad I did as the boots fit well. They are a little challenging to get on so I hope that gets easier after they are more broken in. I put them on and wore them for many hours right out of the box. They are just what I wanted.

I don't know if they have good arch support or how the width is because I literally could not get my foot inside. I ordered a half size larger than my size and could not get my foot inside. They look nice, but there is no stretch or zipper and my foot couldn't bend enough to squeeze in.

These are great leather ankle boots. The leather is high quality and are very comfortable. I only buy leather shoes, and these booties are great. The fir it a wee bit snug but not uncomfortable. As far as waterproof, I've not yet had a chance to wear them in rain/snow. I have several pairs of Rockport/Cobb Hill booties and love them!

This is the 3rd Cobb Hill by Rockport shoe that I've owned and it is so comfortable! The size 9 is truly a size 9. I have a wide toe bed and narrow ankles, which makes me always hard to fit. In addition, plantar fasciitis makes it really difficult for me to find comfy shoes. Although the insole is not removable, I am able to use my Superfeet half sole inserts and wear these boots all day teaching and on into the night. So tired of trying on every boot in the "comfort" category that I'm ordering another Oliana in tan. Love these boots and love Zappos! ***This review is in lieu of previous review***

This is the 3rd Cobb Hill by Rockport shoe I own and, like the others, it is so comfortable! It goes casual to dressy and the waterproof feature is a plus. I'm hard to fit (wide at the toes, narrow ankles) and have plantar fasciitis. The removable insole enables me to use my Superfeet heel inserts and wear them through a full day of teaching and on into the night. In fact, I'm ordering another pair in tan. So tired of trying on other brands - I'm sticking with this!

My feet run narrow and the Cobb Hill collection are perfect for my feet with no heel slip for my very narrow heels. This boot is as good as my several other Cobb Hill shoes and boots- comfortable, no binding or rubbing and arch support enough for my plantar fasciitis. I have slightly higher arches than average, so there's no room for orthotics, but the fit and support is enough for all day wear with some foot fatigue at the end of the day, which is normal for me considering my foot issues. These boots are cute with shorter skinny jeans yet look good under slacks for the office.

Great boots! Comfortable and waterprooof. Good for work or big city touristing in rainy weather.

These boots are very attractive. Heel is a nice height. However, for my arthritis-ridden feet, the toe box is too narrow (even in Wide), and sadly, I had to return them. I was looking for a pair of waterproof short boots, found another pair that were more expensive, but very comfortable.

They are true to size. I didn’t have to stretch the toe box for my bunions. They are comfortable right out of the box and waterproof for New England winters.

I bought the 7.5 and they are perfect fit. A bit darker brown than I thought I was getting, but I'm still very happy with them and kept them. Have worn twice and have had no issues with fit or break in.

these boots are really well made but I could not even get my foot into them! I am a solid 9W and I really wish they would have fit. Even with the zipper down I couldn't get my foot into them which tells me they may be wide in the footbed but they are not accomdating to a chubby foot like mine. Too bad, they are really nice shoes.

Not what I expected as far as looks. These look very cheap and for the money, not worth it! Sorry Cobb Hill I love your shoes but these boots fell short!

I ordered a half size larger, and I still found this boot narrow and difficult to get on my foot. Once it was on, I liked the style and footbed, but my foot felt squished width-wise (and I have a pretty narrow foot). I wanted them to work, but ended up sending them back.

I’m so disappointed in Rockport. Their “wide” is nowhere near wide. I tried sandals in the summer that were way too narrow, and had I realized that Cobb Hill was also made my Rockport I wouldn’t have bought these. I couldn’t even get my foot into the boot. I bought a 7W from Clarks and they fit very comfortably. I will never buy from Rockport again and I hope others with wide feet avoid this frustration! I can’t even imagine how narrow their “regular” must be!
