I ordered several pairs of shoes and these were among those that I chose not to keep. One reason for that is that the leather was not particularly soft, which was a big contrast with some of the other shoes I tried. The appearance of these is OK. The color and sheen of the blue pair actually reminded me of some rain boots I already have. Once I made that association, it was hard to get past it and I decided not to keep these in either color I ordered (the blue and the black).

color did not match the image on the web--the shoes were MUCH LIGHTER than the photo.

The arch support was so far back, it was almost in the heel of the shoe. Most uncomfortable. The style on the computer looked much better to me than the style in 'person'. It may be that since I was looking at and ordered the black, the stitching did not look the same to me? I don't know but I did not like this shoe at all.

Comfortable right out of the box. No need for a break in period. Highly recommend
