The shoes were a hit with my son, however after 2 wears to school the sole completely separated and fell off the shoe. It came home in his backpack. Returned to Zappos.

They don’t sell a lot of kids leather shoes. These are and they are excellent! As soon as my 7 year old son out them on he said they were so comfortable. I like them because they are stylish and will last longer being leather. I would recommend these if you are debating.

My son says these are super comfortable for school shoes. Haven't put them to full use yet as school hasn't started so can't comment on sturdiness but they look good and are nicer than the other shoes we usually purchase for school and close to the same price!

My son has only been wearing these for about a week. So, can't comment on durability. But, they look great and he said they were comfortable right out of the box. Wears them as part of his school uniform. True to size. Same size as his sneakers. If they last, I would definitely consider buying them again.

I did not realize that I was purchasing a child's size 10. It was not clearly stated that these were children's shoes. Maybe I was supposed to know because of the name Great Lakes "Jr."
But, I do give a high grade for the ease of returns. I would definitely shop with Florsheim again!

I bought this shoes for my son and after 2 months he used it for the first time in snow. The whole sole on both shoes disintegrated. Not sure whether this was designed to be used in snow. Got a call from school asking me to deliver other shoe so that he can return home with working shoes.
