Way too narrow. I have several Ecco Size 38 shoes that fit great. I tried both the 38 & 39 in these boots. I couldn't even get the 38 on, and the 39 was way too narrow and overall just too small.

The boots are cute but on the pair I received the heel cap that is on the outside of the shoe hit right on my ankle bone and was very uncomfortable. Sent them back!

I received these boots today and was a little upset. I’m pretty sure these have been worn. The top of the left toe was scuffed and there was a black scuff on the white part of the toe of the right boot, I’ve never had this happen from Zappos before especially paying 219.00 for a pair of boots...that being said, these boots are soo cute. The fit was spot on for Ecco. I wear a sz 40 and that’s what I ordered in the gray. The fit is perfect, they are very comfortable and I had no trouble getting them on as per the other review. I have a medium foot with a narrow heel. The footbed is cushioned and I’m glad they are waterproof. I don’t know that these scuffs bother me enough to have to drive 25 minutes to UPS to send them back...so I will keep them, but disappointed ?? to have received worn boots in the first place.

I love these boots - some of the most comfortable that I now own. I bought my normal size -39 and they fit just like all my other ECCO shoes and boots. I think the arch support is just right (I have medium high arches) and I love the shock absorption and cushiony feeling when walking. The leather is sturdy but soft and right out of the box they were perfect!
