I am sorry to return these but they are too small. I am a size 10.5-11, so I'd say they run a bit small overall. But I can tell they would have been super comfy and great for winter weather! Too bad Ecco doesn't make them in a 42.

Awesome in every way. Stylish Matrix-worthy sneaker-boots. Gorgeous & well built. Needed a bit of breaking in. Want 10 more pairs of these!

I bought these in hopes for a good arch support as with other ECCO shoes. Because of foot injuries, this boot wasn't wide enough for me to slip them on comfortably. They are great looking and I wish they would have worked for me.

Boot is super cute but the boot shaft is very tight & rubs the exterior ankle bone and would be impossible to wear with a thick sock and I ordered a size larger than I normally wear. Perfect for someone with really think ankles

Very nice boots, good for winter weather farther north, but had to return because top was too tight on my upper ankle when zipped up.

I am so happy with these, especially since they were more than half off. I bought the size 40 in black and they're adorable and extremely comfortable. I wear either a 40 or a 41 depending on the shoe. I'm a true 10, average width, but it doesn't always translate. Whenever I read reviews that say a shoe is narrow I get the size 40 and it usually does the trick. My toes are almost at the end, but these really fit me like they were actually made for my feet. I wanted a nice pair of winter boots that I can wear without socks (psyched about the antimicrobial treatment) and these are the ticket. I'm super happy about the fact that there is zero heel slippage (a rarity for me) with these.

These are modern to the point of futuristic. They could have been used the The Matrix. They're seductively stylish and feel supportive and very well cushioned. The only problem is that the collar is uncomfortable on my narrow ankle and leg. Even with jeans tucked in for padding, the collar slaps with each step. If one has normal to wider legs and ankles, I imagine they'll be like walking on clouds with exceptional traction.

Ordered this stylish boot as so perfect for cold snow days in the city. I always wear a size 37 in Ecco and this boot ran very narrow with a very short toe box. The opening of the boot is very tight and stiff which is a shame as like other reviews have stated it is a great looking boot. If you have a very narrow foot this style is for you.

Love the style of this boot and how well made it is. Unfortunately, I had same issues as other folks. Too box was too tight and it was stiff around ankles. If I had kept these, I probably would have kept it unzipped. Eccos usually fit me well, so this was a disappointment. Maybe they'll get it right on version 2.0.

These ECCO boots fit perfectly. I have other ECCO footwear and ordered the same size. I plan on wearing them this winter on my walks and feel the soles will be excellent traction on snow and ice. I don’t like big boots so this style is great. It is hard to tell how warm they will be since it is 100 degrees outside right now but they feel comfortable on my feet and ankles walking around inside my air conditioned house. A bonus was getting them on sale!

Excellent in every way!!! Superior quality construction. THE most comfortable and stylish boot I have found, and have bought many over the years! Will wear mine in the office. The toes are not small in my opinion, fit well with thinner sock, and allow room for medium thickness sock for cold weather, and I have a medium width foot. Well fitting all the way around, and so comfy without breaking them in even. So great, never had so much arch support and overall cushion except in my Assic running shoes.

These boots feel good right out of the box! I haven’t worn them out and about in our Minnesota winter yet, and they won’t replace my taller Keen boots for venturing out in deep snow or super-cold temps. But I believe they’ll serve me well for errands around town and such - which is exactly why I bought them. I love ECCO shoes and boots.

I love this boot, but had to send it back because it felt a smidge short when I wore it with a winter sock. I love ECCOs for the excellent construction and beautiful materials. I love the support in all of their sport shoes - especially golf and now this great winter boot. I am sad that their sizing is not perfectly consistent. I usually wear a 39, but there are exceptions that I wear a 40 - I just don't know in which of their shoes that will occur.

I’m sad these are too narrow for my toes, even sizing up to 40, based on advice from other reviews.
A couple corrections to the description: They are not lace up. I’m not sure why it says they’re hiking boots; should be great Walking around a city, or perhaps 1-2 miles on a well-maintained unpaved trail (if you want to risk scuffing them!), I can’t be sure until I get the right size. They’re very lightweight with a stable sole. But without a customized ankle adjustment And probably Steel shank, they’re not appropriate for a 6-hour mountainous hike, Let alone a week long overnight hiking trip.
If you like how these look online, aesthetically you won’t be disappointed. They are bad-a$$, sci-fi/futuristic, straight off a Berlin runway or Star Wars/Star Trek Next Generation set. The light color is lovely & unusual, pale & between gray and lavender and the modern muted grayish/peachish pink Popular on women’s tops and beanies in the past few years. These are feminine but not girly - for grown women, not young girls. My fashionista 16-year-old Is not a fan (because they’re unique & futuristic, not dorky or “old lady”).
The leather is soft and supple, which should help them conform to your foot and ankle soon if they’re only slightly snug. There’s a subtle change in shininess &/or precise shade between the different sections of leather in the pattern. Two small areas have crackled leather for added interest - eg the back of the heel. In fact as I write this I’m talking myself into trying the next size up. They’re so short, ~6“ above ground, that they won’t help in much snow but certainly in rain and 2-3 inches of snow if you stay away from the plowed piles. They have a very warm insulation, but without a furry cuff, you’ll have to slouch long socks or make sure your leggings/skinny jeans/pants keep the wind out of the top. Or some reviewers said the ankle was snug on them.
Toe box height and instep were roomy enough for me at this size, not sure if I would’ve had to size up for them.
For comparison: My feet are wide at the forefoot but not at the heel, have a high instep and high arch, and my big toe curves upward a lot, requiring quite a roomy toe box. I measure 7 1/2-8 wide or medium at shoe stores, but usually need 8 1/2 W/WW or 9 M/W in close toed shoes (and can only wear a few styles, especially casual boots made for thick socks or Men’s shoes in the smallest size). In open toed shoes, I wear 8 W/WW or 8 1/2 W, or M in a roomy forefoot, resigning myself to extra room in front of my toes - 9 looks ridiculously long. European shoes are often roomier in the forefoot and toebox so 39 is perfect in most Born boots and some Spring Step, and 40 works great in many other pairs/brands. 8 1/2 or 9 fits well in most UGGs with medium socks, 8 in regular UGGs with no socks, and 9 in Bearpaw and North Face with thick socks.

I usually don't wear socks due to issues with my feet so I got these as I love Ecco and I wanted a pair of comfy, warm and stylish boots. And the style, cushioning and arch support that these have (and I have high arches) did not disappoint. However, unlike all the other Ecco shoes I have, these are the only ones that rubbed my foot raw in the first 15 minutes of wearing them. It is really sad, as it is a design detail in the back that causes this and they should have covered it somehow on the inside, but they didn't. Sadly, these may need to go back....

I was so excited to get these boots. I think the style is perfect for Northeast business casual work that takes you in and out of the office. The fit felt perfect but they rip up my ankles every time I wear them. I love them but can’t wear them any more. I probably wore them 15 times. They still look new.
