Let me preface this review by saying that I had the previous version of this boot, which I absolutely loved! These boots? Meh. I ordered them due to the previous Ecco boots I had. They are second-best. Overall, the boot is okay. The leather seems nice. It has a good color and finish. I have not had an opportunity to try out the Gore-Tex lining. Stitching seems good for the short time that I have had the boots. Comfort, while acceptable, is not on par with the previous boots that I had. These need some breaking in whereas the others were my favorite right out of the box. Don't get me wrong, the comfort is okay, just not 5 stars okay. The boot itself has pretty substantial ridge on the toe box from the moc toe design. I am not a fan. It is ridiculously high. That was the reason for the Style score of 3. Would I recommend these boots? Sure, if you have not had any previous experience with Ecco shoes. If you had a very positive previous experience with Ecco boots, like I did, then you might not be as satisfied as you were thinking you would be.

It’s a bit too early to tell, I’ve not had the time to put them through their paces. This will be the third pair of Ecco boots I’ve purchased. The first pair were great from the day I got them till the day I threw them out. The second pair not so good!

The seams on the shoes were already coming apart before they left the box.
