Having sold the Track line and Ecco shoe line, I know for a fact that the issue with the crumbling soles have been fixed back in 2010, when Ecco put TPU on the outside of their shoes. This fixed the problem, as the issue with crumbling soles became a thing if the past. If you want a awesome long lasting shoe choose the Track Line From ECCO.

I purchased these shoes for my son-in-law. They were the style and size he specifically requested. Bottom line: He loved them.

These shoes are worth the price! I have plantar fasciitis and I am able to wear theses shoes without inserts. I have the ECCO Track 25 Premium Low in brown as well. Pretty much the same shoe but different color. You can dress them up or down... I love them both!

I bought a pair of ECCOs similar to this product about 10 years ago. Those shoes served as my daily shoe, my hiking shoe, my working shoe. They remain comfortable, but eventually the rubber sole just wore off. The new shoes in question are an upgrade. Remarkable comfort even without a break in. Strong and waterproof. Stylish. Please not that all the leather and comfort leads to a heavier shoe. These are not trail runners. I could not be happer.

Material and wear have been good.

My first impression was that these shoes were very good. But after hard wearing at my physical outdoor job, the top stitching came undone and the back of the heel wore through the leather. I had both issues repaired and the stitching came undone again as the cobbler used the same cotton twine as was originally used by the manufacturer. If ECCO used a synthetic material for stitching, I doubt this problem would exist and for a $250 shoe, all materials used should be perfect.

They fit true to size for me. Shoes appear to be very durable. A bit hot for the summer maybe but fine the rest of the year. Plan on some break-in time before you go on a long hike with them. Note, the tread on the soles is very deep and gnarly so they do have a tendency to bring a lot of junk from the outside into your house.

Awesome shoe, most comfortable of all my shoes, only problem is after a couple years the sole has become gummy. Not sure how long a shoe like this should last but up to a couple years they are great!

Wear a lot of Eccos, but these run very narrow for a D width!

Fit: I've been wearing Ecco Track for years. Fortunately they haven't seemed to change their sizing for years. So, I always order the same size and they fit as expected. Wearing: I've always liked the material of the soles as it is soft, to cushion your walk, grippy, and waterproof. The soles wear a little faster because they are soft; but, I'm ok with that tradeoff for comfort and grip. Appearance: This is really a matter of personal preference, so you will likely have a different opinion. I purchased the Black Ecco Sport Track 25 shoes--I was surprised--Frankly, I found their appearance unappealing. It looks like they applied black shoe polish, didn't buff it out well, and on the pair I received, they missed a few spots.

I ordered these to replace a pair of Ecco shoes that I had for years and liked very much. These shoes were very disappointing as they were too small.

I have worn this style for a decade. This is the first time it feels too narrow.

Not your Dad’s Ecco. Not quite sure if they’ve been sold or just cutting cost. Whatever happened to made in Portugal? I got a pair from Indonesia. When I pay a premium tag I desire a premium product.

I have worn this shoe for over 10 years. The latest version of it is a shallow imitation at best of the original. The comfort and support are an odd places and I would not recommend anyone spend money on this version of this shoe. Wish I had not kept these!

I had the previous version of this shoe for over 10 years and loved it. But the sole is finally wearing out. This is not the same shoe. it is smaller even though it's the same European size. The heel counter is much shorter; combine this with the very stiff sole and blisters are guaranteed. I've always liked Ecco, but this was nothing but disappointing.

After one day. Not sure if I will buy again.
