The textile's coarse weave and the thick laces make these a bit more casual-looking -- I wouldn't call them a dressy sneaker. Having said that, they are comfortable and look good for what they are.

These shoes are great. Looks good w/ no-show socks and no socks at all. The laces are there if you need them, but I keep them loose to easily slip in and out of. I went up one size so that I could get my feet in, as the tongue is not loose (like a traditional tongue would be) but attached to the sides.

I chose these because of the style and a friend recommended I try Sanuk. I purchased because of their commitment to ethical materials, supply line, and labor. Thanks. Shoes fit like other big brands like Van's, Nike, Toms etc... bought the same size as them. Really comfortable and I've been enjoying my feet not smelling.

I wanted to give these some wear time before I reviewed them. After a week or so of daily use, I am very happy with this purchase. They are comfortable, look good on and the color is true to the pictures (I purchased the olive). I prefer these to my Allbirds. They are more comfortable, and I think they will be more durable in the long run.
