These boots were to be a replacement for a much-loved ankle boot from Clarke’s that I had for many years but had worn out. I was hoping to love these as much. The fit is about a half size smaller than marked and they are cut narrow. The leather is very stiff. I’ve walked around in them several days, and by the end of the day they are uncomfortable. I’m very disappointed, because I will not be able to return them.

OK, just opened the box & tried on, walked around inside wearing a medium weight (?) Foxriver walking sock. Seems to fit well, no rubbing, no Achilles problem. I got an 8 wide, probably could get 8.5 W but I think it might be too big. I plan to wear with maybe a thin- medium acrylic or wool sock or knee highs. Toe room is good & the boot is not too tight anywhere, so far. Now: there is NO leather lining, the label inside says ‘95% polyester 5% PET (?). Sole appears to be rubber; nowhere dies any label state water resistance. Also there is no stretch voting but the tongues do have attached (ie sewn) flaps (?) presumably to keep dirt out. The insole is removable. ‘Red’ unbuckle is a really nice red, not bright, not dull, not maroon but a true red. I like it so far! I’m not familiar with Clark’s ( ie) I don’t own any but this boot seems to be a winner. And I have bunions and had tie surgery this year.

I thought the boot was almost perfect except that it felt small, but from the way it fit I thought the size 9 would probably be too big. Very cute, but I ended up going with the Propet Delaney.

They are a bit difficult to put on but are very comfortable. Have had many complaints.

I love these boots. They are a bit hard to get on but once in they are very comfortable. I have received many compliments. The inner soles come out so I can put my orthotics fit well.

This shoe is very difficult to put on. The laces do not really expand the opening of the shoe. A side zipper is needed.

Beautiful red. However, the style is too plain. Just not very attractive.

I ordered a half size larger due to reading the reviews. They came in and I put them on and wore them all day. So comfortable and good looking. They are hard to get on, but once on you won’t want to take them off!

The boot was at least a full size smaller. Tried it on with slightly heavier sock, such as one would wear with a boot. It also felt narrow in the toe box. To bad .... The boot was so cute. I tried to get a size larger in the red but they were out.

This is my favourite boots by far. I would have added a side zipper as well as the laces, but you cannot beat the comfort of these boots.

It's not that the shoes were too small, but they put a blister on the top of my middle toe. Kinda weird.

I love the Ortholite insoles and I really wanted to keep these shoes, but they were too narrow in the toe box. The are a great color and I'm sure very comfortable for people with normal feet!

A full size too small and too narrow for me, but the real problem is stiffness. I could hardly get them on and can't imagine walking in them. Pretty tho.
