I’m in love! Comfortable (love the terry cloth interior), and so cute! After reading the reviews I ordered the blue in a size 6. I am a true size 7 (usually sizing up to 7.5 for boots only). I found the ) to be slightly too small. Loved the blue color. I thought the 7 was going to be too big, but I loved them so much I decided to try anyway. They were out of blue, so I got the dark grey. They are gorgeous too! I was so surprised that they fit perfectly! My advice: if your normal size is a half size, order down, otherwise order your normal size. I’m so glad I didn’t give up. If they restock the 7 in blue, I’ll buy those too!

My typical shoe size is 9-9.5. In the Gola Harrier, which I love, I wear a size 8. I'd read reviews about others having the "Goldilocks" issue with the Mark Cox and sadly this is the case for me. My toe is grazing the tip of the size 8 on one foot. If I were younger I'd suffer the pain because the Mark Cox shoe is so cute! They're just a bit shorter than the Harrier and Bullet. No doubt the size 9 will be too big. I could never wear Converse or Doc Martin's for the same reason ... Goldilocks :(

I loved the look of these sneakers and wished they worked. Sadly, the 7s were too big, and the 6s were too small. If only they made 1/2 sizes...

When reviews warn about "a size too big", believe them! :) I didn't and went ahead and ordered my regular size for sneakers - size 8. Well, these appear to be at least one size larger, even though marked as 8. The style is cute and they promise to be comfortable when sized correctly.

I’ve searched sooo long to find a pair of neutral fall/winter sneakers and thought I hit the jackpot with these. Unfortunately they are VERY uncomfortable: stiff sole, picky upper inside and overall do not feel worthy of the price tag :(

Love these shoes! The first time I wore them I did a decent amount of walking and there was no discomfort or blisters. I am a solid size 8 and had ordered the gum soled ones in 8 before from J. Crew and they fit like boats. I ordered a size 7 in these and they are still a bit roomy. I typically wear thin, no show socks...so I think they will fit perfectly with regular socks. I think they are definitely more on the wider side as well.

Love this brand but definitely fits one size too large and they don’t have half sizes which can make it even more difficult. They are worth the trouble to find the right fit and be a little different than wearing Vans or Converse, which I love as well!

I have spent a couple of years trying to replace a superbly comfortable pair of North Face, Base Camp Sneakers which they no longer make. These almost fit the bill. For those who pronate at the arch/ankle a bit, or have flexible joints, I found that these are cut a little low around that area of the foot - so not as stable. I also suspect that they will be a bit too warm....we shall see. For those who use orthotics, the innersole isn't really removable....but looks like you could rip it out!

Love these and have in a few colors. I wear a women’s 8 normally (99% of the time) and had to get these in a size 7. I think they’re even still a little roomy. They definitely have a wider format. But they’re super comfortable and look good with lots of stuff.

Beautiful shoes. Ordered an 8 but had to return and get the 7. Luckily that fit perfectly.

I have several pairs of these Gola shoes in the white canvas with color stripes and love them, along with these suede ones. Classic and stylish!

I am so sad about these. I wanted to like them because the style is what I wanted. They looked so cute on! But as other reviewers stated, I too had the "goldilocks" issue. Size 9 was too big, and size 8 was too small (toe was rubbing on the end). I wear a size 8 in the Badminton, and am a true 8.5 in most shoes. The Badminton has a soft shoe body so it moves and molds with your foot. These won't - they're more stiff and structured in the toe box so there would be no stretching. Sad that I have to send these back. The color is a creamy/dusty ivory and it is so nice. It's also a very wide shoe, my foot had a bit too much room on both sides, even in the size 8 :(

Like so many others...I had the Goldilocks experience: A 7 was way too small and an 8 was way too big. I normally wear an 8, so a half size option might have been good.

These were underwhelming in person, with the off-white parts being very dull. The shoe slipped off the back of my heel and felt wider than expected.

Really wish I hadn’t trusted the reviews. I was convinced my 8/8.5 foot needed a 7 and I should’ve gotten the 8 which is what I would’ve ordered had I not read the reviews. Now my size is sold out everywhere.
