Fit was very tight across, length was ok.

I ordered a pair of walking shoes (Danner) that are extremely comfortable right out of the box. My next order was this pair of boots for hiking, and the fit is different. The tongue stitching and spacing does not work for my feet. I am EXTREMELY disappointed. Good looking boots. Good support.

Nice looking, seem very well made. The fit was about right for my 7-/12 sized, narrow-heeled feet wearing medium weight socks, too small with heavier weight socks. I would have kept them but they rubbed painfully a spot on the top sides of my feet and I didn't think that would change with break-in. They are nice enough that I'd try the shoe version of these if Zappos had my size.

Difficult to get on -- opening was tight. Also, the higher ankle hit me at an odd spot. Can't imagine hiking in these, much less wearing around the house for an hour.

I had to send these back because they were so tight and small. I even ordered them in size 9 which is a half size bigger than what I usually wear. I think I would need a size 10 if I were to keep them. These are way small. Order at least a full size up. It’s strange because I ordered a different pair of Danners boots at the same time and they are true to size. I guess each style is different.

I really wanted to love these! Especially since all the reviews have been amazing. I have a pretty small foot overall(5.5). A size 6 usually will fit in sneakers or hikers with plenty of room. These shoes were very tight on the sides and not much toe room. The foot print felt way off. Just overall uncomfortable. I even tried a size 6.5 they were too big. I plan to do some major hikes so my feet need to be happy and sadly these are not working.

This is a fantastic shoe/hiking boot -- but it is NOT waterproof as advertised!! I will be returning this. But it fits so beautifully and is so comfortable, I am sad to do it.

The top rivet on these presses into my ankle bone rendering them unwearable. This happened when I tried the vertigo 917 boots as well. Otherwise, these are a good looking boot and it fit well everywhere else. So disappointed again, I want a pair of black boots and I love love my Danner Chukkas which don’t have this hardware placement problem.
