About sizing: Livie and Luca run a bit big. The honeycomb soles are about a full size larger than your average shoe from wherever (and a tad wider, which is a big part of why I like them). So when we outgrew our 6s in other shoes, we had to buy 6s in this brand because the 7s were huge. That said, these are not the honeycomb soles. There is a mistake in he description. These are the first walker soles and they are about a half size smaller than the honeycomb soles. That makes them a half size larger than regular shoes. This is perfect for me because it gives my daughter a little in between shoe for when one gets too tight but the next size is clumsily large. About the shoe: These are excellent quality leather and the soles are very flexible. I got these in anticipation of the weather cooling off and for those obnoxious playgrounds with the wood chips that get in her mary janes. I also love the denim blue color. I am so sick of sparkly, bright colored, gaudy looking shoes. These were a win.

I think the sizing is true to size, though the toe area is wider than most brands. These don't run as big as most livie luca sizes, as previous viewer noted. However I have to disagree that they run even a half size bigger. I've attached a picture of a size 6 from Old Navy, and it looks and fits a true half size larger than the 5.5 I ordered of these shoes, from Livie & Luca. I also have a pair of Cat & Jack size 6, same story. These are very cute and well made. I always love the extra toe space in L&L.
