The fit was fine and a very cute shoe but we tried it on my daughters foot and the color started flaking off of the strap when we only tried it on. I was shocked! For the price you pay for this shoe it shouldn’t do that. We’ve owned Livie and Luca shoes before and never had this issue. Needless to say as cute as they were we immediately sent them back. Super disappointed.

As other reviewers have I indicated, the metal color rubs off almost instantly. This is what the shoes looked like after three days of use. Really too bad.

Ruined after day one. I was so disappointed but now seeing other reviews on the L&L page, I guess I should have known. I purchased these for my 5 year old for her birthday. She absolutely LOVED them. Wore them to school the following week and came home devastated because the metallic had scuffed off terribly. Now she won’t wear them to school. I’m so bummed. This has t been our experience with L&L in the past. I guess we’ll avoid metallics in the future.

So this was a disappointing purchase. These adorable shoes came from a brand that we LOVE but my daughter wore them one day and the metallic color rubbed off! Zappos was quick to make it right and I appreciated that so much but I expect more from Livie and Luca! Also, I rarely purchase shoes without reading the reviews, wish I had not forgot to do that with these. What a shame, these shoes match everything. We do still wear them but they are not what we hoped they would be.

These shoes are really cute but for the price paid I'm very disappointed in the quality. The color (black) began rubbing off the toes after only a couple of wears and the velcro barely sticks. The shoes are constantly falling off my daughter. They are also very wide. This is my first and last time buying Livie & Luca.

My daughter wore these twice and they are so scuffed up and messed up from falling/being a toddler. Which I understand that they’re shoes and that will happen, but it now looks like we’ve had these shoes for months, when she’s really only worn them a few hours.

The fit of these shoes is great. I’ve got a problem with the quality of the leather. The metallic color immediately started rubbing off, revealing a dark grey color underneath. It’s definitely rubbing off, not scratched (see photo). It made them look very worn and years old after only a day or two of being worn. I wish i could send them back for a pair that held up better. Seems like a cosmetic issue.
