These shoes were chosen out of five different choices by my 12-year-old son, who is hard to buy for because he won't wear anything that's even a little too stiff, rubs, or is tight. He says they feel incredible and have great traction. He'll wear them running on a treadmill. He fit a size 9.5 best, but almost could have worn the 10, which were too long but seemed about the same width. His feet are a bit narrow, so I think they could fit a little snug on a wider foot, but the length seems true to size compared to the other pairs he tried. The laces don't need to be used (pull on shoe), but are functional and can provide a tighter fit if needed. I just hope that they wear well and that his feet have stopped growing so fast that I have to replace them in a few months.
