These are great socks for year-round wear for both hiking and with street shoes. I like that they wear much longer than a famous competitor. I've stopped buying those because they wear out in the heels and bottoms so quickly. Like all wool socks, these are pricey, but they hold up.

I love these socks! Every time Ive saved up enough to justify a purchase, I add a new sock to my wardrobe I live in the Pacific Northwest and am usually wearing waterproof boots, even when Im not hiking. I wear these socks for everything: outdoors in the fall, winter, and early Spring, and indoors when the weather drops below 40 and my feet need cushion and a hug. These socks are well-made, hug but dont compress (I have lots of issues with my feet, so this is important to me), and are so dang cute. Plus, you get a lifetime guarantee from DT with your purchase, so when your socks wear out at the heels or instep DT will cover the purchase of a new pair. Highly recommend!

Darn Tough socks are the best socks! I am giving them as Christmas gifts to my entire family this year. For several years, I have been telling my family, friends, co-workers, and anyone who will listen that these are absolutely the best socks. I don't know how many pairs I have, but I have a lot of your socks and I am slowly weeding out all of my other socks because they do not compare in durability, quality, or comfort. if youre on the edge of two sizes you might wanna get the larger one if youre like me and have long but narrow feet - its not as stretchable as the typical sock (a very good thing but means having the right size is more important) I have narrow feet and i love how they actually hug my foot around, just it was a little tight on my toes since theyre long - with a little stretching they fit pretty fine

A bit of style and a lot of warm! Would like a little more roomy calf as they are snug fitting.
