Comfortable but inside of sock above ankle has multiple loops of loose threads that I catch my toes on when donning socks. So far theses threads dont seem to be affecting function but I fear cutting them will cause socks to unravel. I have never had this issue with my other Darn Tough socks.

These are comfy and good looking socks. Just the right amount of warmth for cooler weather. I never have to worry about them stretching out or falling down.

Micro Crew Midweight socks are warm and comfortable, machine wash well, and are great to contra dance in! I don't wear any other socks.

I love these socks. Warmth is great but not too thick so fit in my boots good. Looking forward to seeing the durability but so far so good. Each time I wash them they look brand new. I prefer my crew socks a little longer to hit just the right spot on my calf at my boots that is why the loss of one star. Other than that these are amazing!

These are great hiking socks. Not too thick and not too thin. They fit true to size. I like darn tough socks as they last a long time.

feel great and look great, have yet to get them dirty but they have plenty of sisters that are dirty already, LOL.

At first I only wore lightweight socks because I got into DT in summer, but one day my feet were just so cold I broke these out and wow!! The shape, grip, and fit are phenomenal. The whole sock stays exactly where you put it. The colors on the aqua pair are much more subtle and less neon bright than they are in the product photo, more like the picture where someone is wearing them camping. Which, for me, is a good thing.
