I am sending the boots back, for the second time, as the next size up is still too small. I normally wear a 7-7.5 and I am now exchanging for a size 8.

I got these for a trip to Wisconsin in November. Little did I know that this trip would entail multiple days of deer hunting and trekking through the snow. This boots have been a life saver. They're snug and water proof. We tracked for a good hour through a swampy area and my feet were dry when we came back in. They do start out a little tight, but after wearing them for a few hours they stretched out to my normal size. The only reason they're getting four stars instead of five is that my toes tend to get cold, but the rest if my feet and legs are fine. I love how tall they are. I splurged on these to get boots that go up to right below my knee and I would do it again.

I love how the boots fit like they were made for me...except how snug they are in the toes even after ordering a full size larger :( I am a 8.5 narrow and the 9.5 cramps my toes. Hoping an exchange for a 10 is all that's needed. Haven't used them yet to rate their functionality.

These are bulkier than expected but seem like they will be very warm. I did not size up and happy I did not, they fit perfect as my normal size.

Will update after I exchange for the proper size! I wear an 8 in uggs and got an 8.5 in these, They are fitting just perfectly without any socks at all. Feel warm already!

Love the design. Found them to be full size too small with thick wool socks.

I use this for outdoor winter wear on the farm, they are warm enough with tights that I can wear a short skirt to do my work. They are easy to slip on and off if I lace them loosely, but they are still snug and supportive. Incredibly warm, comfortable, cosy boots.Would be good if they could be tightened more around the ankle, because they are a bit bulky, I can't seem to get them to lace tightly enough around the ankles - for this reason I wouldn't wear them into the rockier fields. I haven't tried them in the snow yet, but they are fine in the wet grass and puddles.

Great for walking in cold deep snow. Strings are hard to loosen and tighten. But love them.

Slight trouble when taking off. Don't tie too tight!

Bought these new boots after using another North Face pair for more than 3 years of daily use. Living at Lake Tahoe at 7500 feet means I need a boot that can be used in deep snowfall, and be comfortable for errands, work,

I really like these boots. I used them today on a very snowy day. The boots kept my feet dry, warm, and comfortable while I ran out and about. The only thing I don't like is that the boots do not have a liner. I like boots with liners because it's easier to keep them clean and to get rid of odor. I don't know how I'm going to keep these clean/odor free. I bought some invisible foot powder. Hopefully that will help if needed

I received the boots in 3 days, very fast. I wished I would have ordered a larger size, but I didn't based on other reviews. That being said, after trying these on I found them to feel more comfortable then I expected, especially for being a smaller size. Though I do like the style of them, I don't like how difficult it was taking them off (only wore indoors for less 10 minutes) as I find them to feel constricting on my legs, making it harder to get off and can't imagine how much more difficult it would be for me to get them off after wearing them when they get wet from the snow. I'm returning them and ordering the Shallista III (mid boot). I LOVE that they have free shipping on returns otherwise I would not have ordered them in the first place.

These boots are absolutely all they're hyped to be. Sadly, my feet need a larger toe area than I can get in these boots. North Face received them back as a return exceptionally easily. The boots are outstanding in warmth (I broke out in a sweat while trying then on in my home) and would be perfect with the right fit.

These boots are great because they are so tall. Nice for walking to work after a snow storm or snow blowing the sidewalk. They run really small, however. I'm normally a 9.5 or 10 in any shoe, but I ordered a 10 and then return it for a size 11. If you're going to wear socks, and especially warm winter socks, then size up.

I just bought these boots in black. I like how they gave me black/red shoestrings and an extra pair of gray/black shoestrings so I can alternate. I have not worn then in the snow yet, but when I tried them on they were very comfortable. Can't wait to wear the them, I have a feeling they are definitely going to keep my feet warm and dry when I go to Norway in December. I only gave it a four star only because I haven't worn them in the snow.

Great fit. Very comfortable and extremely warm. That said, I was surprised at how light the felt on my feet.

These boots are very beautiful! They fit too rough on me so sent back.

Boots are nice but the sizing is way off. Had to order 1.5 size bigger than normal. Don't love the blue laces - they don't really match.
