I love these boots! I wear combat boots year round, but I live in a proper winter zone for five months each year. I don't like to adapt my wardrobe too much to any weather, and these boots are a seamless style match for my wardrobe. They're warm, comfortable, and they feel like I've had them forever.

I live in Michigan and it has been cold and we've gotten a lot of snow, these boots are great in the cold weather and look super cute and stylish!

I haven't had a chance to try them in the snow yet, but so far very comfortable and warm!

I have not worn them out much yet. These boots fit very comfortably right out of the box. Have a lot of cushion. I am typically an 8 or 8.5 with wider feet and I got 8.5. They are plenty roomy for thick socks. They look nice too.

This very true to size. I went half size down because reviews said runs big. I am a between size 6-7 and I got 6, a little snug for me. I will be getting a different size.

I was looking for boots that are fashionable to keep my feet dry and warm in snow and rain, when walking campus. I have narrow feet and while they are wide they're perfect with thick socks to add warmth, and they aren't so wide that I can't wear them with thinner socks on warmer days.

Based on other reviews I wasn't sure what size to order, so I ended up getting two sizes and returning the one that didn't fit. I ended up with the smaller size (a half size down from what I'd usually get) primarily due to an issue others have mentioned with the material of the boot bunching up around the ankle. It's not the end of the world, and I was able to lessen this by changing the top laces to go "over" rather than "under" to make it easier to tighten.
Overall, these boots are incredibly comfortable and required no break in period. They seem to be waterproof as advertised (though they haven't been out in real snow yet) and I didn't need to put suede protectant on.

The boots are cute and stylish. They just fit a little funny but with some thick socks they fill.

My husband got these shoes for me for Christmas. Shoe color wasn't the kind of brown I expected. I like to have a brown, but what I got was dark brown almost to black. The shoe tounges were short. They feel too wide that I need to wear thick socks. In all fairness they're cute and stylish. They look good on jeans. I will still recommend this to people bcoz we have different styles and likes on shoes/boots.

The boots look great they were a tad too small so I did return for a larger size but I can't wait for the new ones to come in!

I use them as everyday boots in West Michigan. They keep your feet warm and dry while walking through slush and snow. Very comfortable for staying on your feet during the day.

I was super impressed with these boots. They are comfortable and cute and you are able to dress or down really easily. The boots are durable and are able to stand up to any weather conditions. I usually tend to size up with boots but these run true to size so there is no need for that and they are not to narrow so you can wear thick socks with them.

These are pretty good boots but I did have a bit higher expectations for North Face boots. The toe is super rounded and the top part of the boot the ties wrap around is not very well structured so it makes the crease or "break" in spots and they just esthetically look a bit weird. They aren't the most comfortable to wear for long periods of time either, wearable but they could be better.

I purchased these for my winter wedding on the beach and the "doe" color was more of a grey/white than tan. I typically wear a 9 in North Face boots (and 9.5 in most other boots) and could go down a 1/2 size in these, unless I wanted to wear really thick socks. Otherwise, they were comfortable and stylish; I ordered the light brown color in a 1/2 size down and hope they work out! I understand how people are annoyed with the top of the boot being a little wide and hard to cinch, though I was able to tighten the laces for better fit.

Looked nice, fit well, but it was bulgy and looked weird around my ankle. Almost like it wrinkled out. Returning it.

Poor SupportGreat Support
Seemed like nice material, but the system of tying them with the laces wrapped around the ankle before going through the final opening in the front is really cumbersome. Don't think I'd have the patience for it every day. There's really no arch support and little padding, and the inner sole isn't removable, so no possiblity of replacing. Also, one boot felt larger than the other.

The shoes are great looking but the shoe laces are wrapped around the of the boot and there isn't really a way to make it tighter around the ankle. I like my boots more secure than the ability these are giving me.

They were my favorite shoes until the seems split about 3 months after getting them. I thought they would be high quality coming from this company but unfortunately I was wrong. There's no way to repair them either and I am so sad. I now need to get new boots. I will not be getting them from north face.

These are weirdly not shaped like a human foot. There is extra material that pools around my foot just below my ankle. Requires lacing as tight as possible around the ankle but not further toward the toe. They also extend too high up into the shin/calf to be comfortable to walk in. For reference, I'm 5'8" and purchased an 8.5. I'm a typical 8.5. I don't think I could fit an 8 based on the tightness at the ball of my foot.

Don't buy this item, I wore them only two winters and they already look completely worn out. I thought buying a north face Product meant that I would have durable boot that would look good for years, but the quality of the material is so low that after a few use they looked awfull. I tried to dye them again, but the fabric did not absorb the dye and after one use it was back to looking like old boots. The customer service said they couldn't do anything for me. "Lifetime warranty"... Yeah right
