First thing I noticed taking these out of the box was the beautiful soft leather. I’ve never had a leather shoe that felt this luxurious & wanted these to be “the ones”. The 8 1/2 size seemed accurate but the toe box was just a little too snug on my left foot. Had surgery on it a year ago & can no longer wear most of the shoes I own though. The leather may have stretched with wear, but I needed these to be comfy now. I also ordered the Pikolinos Daroca in size 39 Siena and these are likely going to go with me on our upcoming 2 week trip to France.

I have a high arch. I had to unbuckle the tiny buckle to get my foot into the boot. Cute shoes but not convenient to put on or take off.

Love the leather on these boots and the style --a sleek profile! The width was snug for me but I wear orthotics so maybe this won't be an issue for everyone else. Wish I could keep these!

Loved the look and color of this shoe, but unfortunately had to return because the boot was a little too big and slipped on my heal. Love Zappos return policy, and appreciate their size options!

These booties were quite cute and made of the softest leather. Although I thought the strap and buckle were just for looks, they were actually functional. As the boots are slip-on with no zippers, the strap can be adjusted to give a more snug fit. Unfortunately the pointy toes were uncomfortable on my wide feet so back they went.

I usually wear 8.5M, but I ordered this bootie in a 9M because it’s a slip-on and they usually are harder to put on than the zipper styles. I think the 8.5 would have fit better once on, but I’m not sure I could have gotten them on very easily, especially with socks. With the 9 I can wear light to medium socks and be comfortable. Like other reviewers, I found the leather to be very soft and comfy, which was a primary criterion. The cognac color is beautiful. The medium width is true to size and perfect for me. The heel is a tad loose, but after all, it is a half size larger than I usually wear. I’ll just get a lightweight insert if I need one after I’ve worn the shoes for a while. Be aware: you can see your socks at the sides of the bootie due to the gusset. Doesn’t bother me, but it might concern some people. I like this shoe.

I was worried about getting into these as the other reviews mentioned they were tight. Upon first try on, I thought they were going to be too tight to get on comfortable but if you get the angle right, it works! They felt a tiny bit tight in the toes, so if you're between maybe go 1/2 size up. Also, these dip quite low so you'll need extra low socks to wear with. I got the mahogany color and they it's a nice, rich brown.

Sam Edelman is one of the few shoe makers who offer a 10.5 size - and I am a TRUE 10.5. These fit like a dream right out of the box. I find them comfortable for all day walking/driving/shopping excursions, and they look great with skinny jeans and tunics. I have high arches, but had no trouble getting these on or off. I wear a lightweight sock with these boots.

Perfect Bootie! Comfy, well made and stylish! Definitely a keeper..... I'm an 8.5 normally have room, ordered 8.5 with less room than normal. So if you normally order a size and they fit snug, order up.

The leather is very soft. Over all seems well made with a very nice grip on the bottom front of the boot. Comfort with the good arch support feels great. I look forward to wearing the boots a lot.
