I was eyeing this bag for a long time before I decided to bite the bullet. I was in love with the style and the use of acrylic strips to give such a refined and art-deco-esque vibe. I also appreciated that the side panels were leather, and that the colors of the acrylic strips on the flap matched the colors of the strips on the body when closed. For me, a $100+ clutch bag I only wear on special occasions is not the easiest thing to splurge on, so naturally I expected a lot. However, I struggled with how many stars to give this item and ultimately settled on a 2 for "overall" because I was so let down by the overall quality. I'll start with the good. The Multi color is truly beautiful in person and the acrylic panels lay perfectly parallel to one another and are straight. The size is ok and fits what you need, but without much room for more. I fit my S5 phone with a relatively thin case (I know, I'm living in the stone ages in 2019), ID and some cards, my powder compact, a lipstick, and my car key but it struggled to close a bit. Without the powder compact it closed comfortably. I wouldn't recommend over-stuffing it or the clasp might have a hard time closing; those things I listed are my must-haves though, and it handled them just ok (hence 4 on "comfort"). The bag felt nice to hold in your hand and under your shoulder. Now, the bad. The chain strap is cheap-looking and feeling, so I dropped a star on "style." I anticipated that based on the picture, but was willing to settle (and never use it) if the bag was flawless. Unfortunately, the bag was not flawless. It smelled STRONGLY of heavy-duty glue. I could see glue on the side seams pretty much all around the bag by where the leather panels connect with the acrylic panel backing, and some of the backing was even pulling away and not laying flat. There was a long loose thread by one leather panel that pulled across the curve at the bottom, like the sewing machine had missed an entire section (that stitch was supposed to reinforce the leather panel to the fabric lining/backing, so I worried about how it would hold up after several uses). Then, I noticed one of the acrylic panels ever so slightly lifting from its backing material on one side, like it wasn't properly glued in the first place. Finally, the inner stitching along the fabric lining is not straight and has a low stitch count. This is my smallest complaint, but I think it's worth noting because it reflects the overall construction of the bag. From afar, no one can see what I see, and the bag is still pretty and impressive when you're holding it. But I am the one interacting with the bag, and I just felt like such sloppy craftsmanship for the price I paid was unacceptable. Sadly, I sent this one back. If these things don't bother you, or if you get luckier with one that has better QA, you won't be disappointed with the style.

This is a beautiful envelope hand purse. Other reviews mention sloppy glue work and dissatisfaction with the quality of the chain. The product I received had neither of those issues. The glue work was invisible and the appliqué was solidly in place. The chain resembles a lovely chain necklace which fits my use as something I will take to more formal events and celebrations. Finally, it is by far the most colorfully festive little purse I've ever owned and I adore it!

The bag was cute and colorful, but on the small side. I would’ve kept it if not for the manufacturing defect.
