Love these shoes. They are gorgeous and for well. That said, they seem to not be very durable on the trails. I've worn these maybe a dozen times on non-technical trails and they are ripping out in the big toe mound area on both shoes. Also, once they get muddy, they never really get clean again. The dirt just seems to attach itself to the upper.

Wasn't too happy when I slipped in these shoes on a wet rock but what is keeping me from running all outdoor terrain in these shoes is the lack of ankle support. I want to love them and wear them but I'm afraid I'll be extremely selective to level dirt paths, no rocks etc and I was hoping with cleat like bottoms I would feel more confidence on rock trails.

I love, love these shoes. They are so comfortable. I received so many compliments on the looks. But sadly they started to wear out before I had them for 6 months. They wore down/ ripped on the sides at the widest part of my foot. This happened on both feet in the same place. The toe base started to pull away from the shoe just a little. But for the length of time that I had them it was disappointing. I hike 2-3 miles 3-4 times a week on trails in the mountains surrounding the desert. There are some rocky spots but for the most part they are dirt trails.

These shoes look really nice, have great traction, are comfortable. Unfortunately, the wore out along the area where the rubber along the sides and toes meet the fabric. I now have dime-sized holes at my big toes and beside my small toes. Shies that cost this much should wear better. If the rubber that is supposed to protect came up even an inch further, I don't believe this would have happened. But the area where rubber & fabric join is right where there seems to be the greatest stress on the shoes.

The fit was good & I loved the colors. I did not find these shoes as comfortable as other casual shoes I have from Merrell. The uppers are a rather stiff canvas type material that, for me, isn't as comfortable as others. The knee high socks included with the order are comfortable. They are thin & would work with many shoes.

These shoes are super cute, but not nearly as comfortable as other Merrell's I have. I wanted to love them, but I hike a lot and I didn't find them comfortable at all. So disappointed.

I pre-ordered this shoe in early April, got it in May. I noticed it was quickly wearing thin around the side by the big toe. In the last 2 weeks it has completely ripped through the fabric on one shoe and is close on the other. I would expect it to last much longer via normal wearing to exercise and walk. Normally the shoes I buy last around 2 years, very disappointed.

These shoes are comfortable, though they lack support and structure. My shoes are worn down after a short time, and my feet have been sore after a few weeks adventuring in them. I usually love Merrell shoes and don't usually twist ankles but something about this shoe does my feet dirty. Both my husband and I are disappointed--they are not a great trail shoe.

The quality of these are HORRIBLE! I didn't even get 10 miles in and they started coming apart and wearing down. Seams where the plastic meets the fabric started separating first, then the color faded out after being in one small rain storm. Under 40 miles the fabric has completely frayed through on the top of the ankle opening and other places on both pairs.

I have been raving about these shoes since the moment I put them on. Seriously, I don't think I've ever had such comfortable shoes. So I'm so heartbroken that the pinky toes have worn right through in only four months. Now I'm seeing that hundreds of others also had this problem? I really, really hope I can find a replacement for my unicorn shoe.

These are the MOST COMFORTABLE shoes I've ever owned! They're also the most beautiful as I love Rainbows! These are also one of the few shoes I can wear 24/7 while having neuromas on my feet. I hike 5 days a week and these have been my daily shoe and allowed me to walk with no pain for the last 10 months. The only downfall and reason why I have to rate these so low is bc 3 months after getting these "unicorns" and only wearing them occasionally holes began to form at the pinky toe. Those holes grew fast and although the shoe is still wearable, I've had to add duct tape covering the holes which ruins how pretty these shoes are. I wish they made the rubber higher up to cover the pinky toe. I believe this would resolve the Only problem with these awesome shoes! And it's not due to my pinky toe, there are hundreds of others who also have the same problem with these shoes. Otherwise, these are perfect and I bought them bc nurses reviewed them saying they wore them for 12 plus hrs a day with no discomfort and I can attest to this! I want these exact shoes, just need more rubber over the toes please!!

These are super cute, but maybe you could offer them in a wide width also? Some people need a wide width, but shoemakers always seem to exclude those of us from the cutest styles.

I wanted to get a trail running shoe and decided to go with this new offering. I have been wearing minimals for some time and my foot could not feel comfortable in this shoe. I got blisters in between two toes on my left foot and blisters on the back of each heel. The shoe was super pretty and I really wanted it to work but it didn't. I'll be purchasing some trail-running minimals instead.

I'd love to buy these shoes, but Merrell only makes one or two styles in wide widths. It's deeply frustrating.

Can't really review because they are only offered in 3 sizes. what is the reasoning for this? you should at the very least explain this on the product page.

I feel this shoe is wide in the heel and toe box and has no arch support so even using the runners tie, the shoe still slips on my foot. I also find it does not offer the support as a hiking / trail running shoe that I've come to expect from Merrell. To be fair, I will say my spouse has a wide flat foot and loves this shoe so consider your foot before selecting this shoe.
