This was a perfect fit out of the box. Finding boots or shoes that fit well and are comfortable is always a challenge. These are true to size and are orthotics friendly, since you can easily remove the existing insoles. Due to the design, I have ample room for my toes. The best part, however, is that these boots look great! They are stylish and easy to put on and take off due the full length side zipper. I love the quilted nylon uppers, which provide great ankle support, and the fleece trim at the top is the icing on the cake. I highly recommend these boots.

They are super cute and the fit is great - the toe box
is wide and deep and I can use my orthodics without having to remove the
original insole which make them super comfy. The Scotch guard water
resistant feature is also a plus. The sole looks and feels slip resistant
too. The boot height is great - just tall enough to tuck skinny jeans
into, but not too high on calf. As I received these boots in the summer I
have not had a chance to see how they perform in rain or snow. I look
forward to trying them out when the weather changes. The only thing I would
change is the shoe laces as they seem stiff and of cheap material. I really
like Propet brand as I have another pair of Propet shoes - they are very
comfortable and stylish.

The Travelbound pair I received are light weight and comfortable. It is not easy to find comfortable wide shoes that you can wear with several outfits. I love the adjustable fasteners!

Got these to go to Omaha (from Florida). Nice boots, side zipper made on-off a breeze. My calves are slender so I pulled the lacing completely closed and the fit was fine. These would be good for any size calves as there is so much adjustment possible, and once you've found your fit, no additional lacing is needed - just zip & unzip!

I have short feet with a very wide and deep toe box and high instep. Needless to say, both my toes and my instep are rarely accommodated by winter boots. Add to that an exceptionally narrow heel that leaves my heel slipping in plenty of medium width shoes. Thus the rare creature known as the wide width boot typically creates a new set of problems in the heel, often unsolved by the placement of heel padding (if you can even get it to adhere to insulated boots).
I’ve had moderate success with propets before but mostly with their clogs (wide clogs are always the easiest shoe to get my feet into). And I always have to add foot petals to my propets for arch support.
These boots were an interesting study in propet sizing. I tried both 6.5 W/D (my actual foot length is 6.5, and the width of my toe box is about an E) and 7M.
These are definitely not hiking boots, nor do they have particularly thick or lush insulation. So for these i was looking for boots that would work with crew socks during quick trips out (although I did try both pairs on with my thinner set of hiking socks). It is nice to have such a boot in part because the heat created in the really heavy duty ones gets very uncomfortable very fast, for me anyway, once you’ve come in from the snow to a doctor’s office or store or what have you. If one is going to deal with a lot of snow, it’s nice to have one pair that could take a long beating out of doors with thick socks and one pair that can transition in and out of doors.
Now my initial impression was that I would need to return both. Both were extremely spacious in the toe box. The 7 M was moderately not deep enough in its cut in the area right before the lacing starts (though more liveable there than some snow boots I’ve had, it would definitely create a painful spot with lengthy wear). The 6.5 W was wonderful up front. But both boots did not seem quite adjustable enough in the lacing to tighten up the heel. And both seemed sized slightly larger and slightly wider than their labels. Furthermore, although propets are indeed generally thin sorts of shoes, I was struck by just how insubstantial any sort of padding to the footbed or the sides of the boot was.
I often find that the cheaper version of spenco insoles work for me—providing a little more arch support while not increasing the volume in athletic types of shoes that have removeable insoles. So I tried those. This is part of why I think these boots run both short and long. My spencos cut to size 7 were flailing around leaving empty toe boxes in both boots. And they did not have enough depth to help the fit. Then I remembered seeing a pair of new balance unisex insoles I’d seen on my shelf. I took them out to examine them and vaguely remembered purchasing them a full decade ago but being unable to use them—as is so typical of me with most insole brands— because they were too deep to accommodate my foot in any shoes I had. That is, they took up too much volume in most shoes. It turns out this chance pair of insoles I held onto were the perfect solution to getting the 6.5 W to fit with average size crew socks. They also provide very welcome padding even if they lack the thermal features of the thinner propet insoles that came with the boots. I suspect the padding will do as much insulating as anything the thinner propet insoles could have done anyhow. It really does pay for those of us with “special” feet to experiment with insoles. And it’s one of the reasons Zappos is so valuable, providing you time at home to ransack your shelves for solutions.
Now back to the boots: The laces are disappointing and likely to need replacing at some point if the boots see heavy use. But they and the boots are attractive in grey. I certainly could wish for higher boots. I’ve never had such short winter boots unless they were hiking style for gaiters. At the same time, the added height might make them too warm to easily transfer from indoors and out. So it’s a toss up. I do LOVE the side zip, without which I’d never have kept these bc of the fragility of the laces and the time required to adjust them. The zip keeps your adjustments in place and is brilliant. It is very easy to get your feet out of the boots just using the zip—a fact I don’t take for granted after trying some Merrell with a side zip.
So really my only remaining reservation on the boot is the tread. For ice it doesn’t appear special. And I’m the sort of gal who needs all the help she can get in navigating winter ground. But may I be pleasantly surprised. Here’s hoping, but I do wish I could take the tread off of a great winter hiker and put it on these. Speaking of which, at this price point, I’m not impressed with the features. Given my difficulty getting boots that size right, I’ll swallow ridiculous price points, but I’d expect more to the base of this shoe inside and out for 100+. I’d think this better priced at half that. However, the variety of sizing propet offers is probably what allows them to get away with the make. The scotch guard is good, but given all the seams and different materials, I’ll add a touch of carbon spray for waterproofing.

The fit is wonderful ! My feet are wide, so it's hard to find shoes that fit. These
fit great right out of the box. So glad I took a chance and ordered them.

Had to double check that I received wide width as these were so narrow and long, but I was sent the item that I ordered. Toe box was way too narrow and the heel was way too wide, very uncomfortable and promptly returned them.

I bought these for a 10 day trip to Alaska when I realized my old faithfuls were no longer waterproof. These boots were comfy right out of the box. In fact, I'd planned on wearing them on the plane and packing my other shoes but forgot to pack my other shoes so I ended up wearing these every day. I wore them sledding and playing in the snow as well as boutique shopping. I wear a size 9 and could wear these with 2 pairs of thin socks. In 17 degrees, my feet did not get cold or wet. When I came in, the snow was caked on the sock cuff, but dried without problems. They look great with leggings and under boot cut jeans. My least favorite feature is the shoelaces. They do snug down the calf a small amount (I have skinny legs) but the laces were always in the way, imho. I will probably change them for elastic shoelaces for my next trip. Also, while I originally worried about the cuff and fabric being too thin for snow play or extreme cold, that was not an issue. Best of all, when I arrived home, they still looked brand new. FYI, I had to remove them at the airport despite my TSA Pre check, they made metal detector alarm. Zipper made them easy off/ easy on.

Good fit but a little smaller than the Delaney ankle boot. Wore for a mile long walk right away in snow and packed ice. Very warm and comfortable. Love the side zipper so they are easy to take on/off and can tuck in pants easily. Just wish they had been a taller boot. I will most likely use my own arch supports as they have minimal arch support that is removable.

Very happy with this boot. Nice toe room and very comfortable right out of box. Light weight and warm enough to stomp around in the winter. Cute style. Happy with purchase.

This one might be a keeper! I'm wearing it now around the house to test it out. Very comfortable and provides enough structure unlike so many winter boots. Roomy toe box, removable arch supports and stylish look.

Purchased these boots for my daughter to wear to school. She feels they are stylish enough (not bulky) and comfortable to wear all day at school. We did have to order a half size up. They are easy on with the zip up side and she like the 'sweater like' material at the top.

It's hard to rate these boots since there are some positives and some not-so-positives. I purchased them because I need an extra wide fit to accommodate orthotics plus heavy socks, and these will do that. They are surprisingly long. I ordered a 1/2 size smaller than normal, and even so I debated exchanging them for a 1/2 size shorter with the same width. In the end, I hesitated to do that since sometimes then the footwear ends up narrower than I might like. My husband noticed the boots right away and said they were "really cute." I have not yet tested them in snow. They do not look as waterproof as, say, Columbia boots (which run too narrow for me), but they are coated in Scotchguard, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Nice boot. I found them to be comfortable. I wear a size 8 and they seem to be true to fit. The side zipper makes it easy to get the boot on and off. A small insert on the top of the boot is made of a material used for umbrellas. This unfortunately did not keep my feet dry splashing in a puddle.

I avoided buying these for a while because I worry about zippers in boots breaking. It is more on the combat side than the photos indicates to me but I don’t mind that. You can adjust the laces, which is good. The ankles looked puffy and loose and tightening the laces helped some. They are warm for California winter.

This are cute, comfortable and fairly warm shoes for everyday use in winter. I wanted something between a regular shoe and a snow shoe for winter days without snow. These shoes work for that. They aren't, however, what I would call a serious shoe. They offer little support, which I prefer. Also, wide shoes are recommend with my current orthotics, and few brands offer W for women. So I'm satisified with this purchase but, considering the price, they seem a bit cheap.

I have purchased so many styles of the Propet brand and with my exceptionally wide feet, I am grateful to have options! I was excited when these boots arrived because they are so lightweight, but sadly they were significantly narrower than their usual 4E width. I had to return them.
