I saw these on a friend and have wanted a pair for a while. It turns out they don't look or feel as good on my size 9.5 feet... I'm a 9.5/10 and I got the 9.5 in these, but I would have exchanged with 9s if I decided to keep them. The wood block heel and black leather contrast beautifully and would go with more colors than just black or just brown. The wedge heel is interesting and comfortable. But in the end it felt bulky and not cute in the larger size. If you are size 7.5 and under go for it. Anything bigger and they're not cute like the pictures anymore.

I ordered half a size smaller than I normally wear, the shoe fit comfortably. However, something strange happened to the leather the first day I wore it. The leather started looking cracked and very worn. Was it the quality of the leather or maybe just my shoes? I don't know. But I am not comfortable keeping these shoes because, for the price I expect the leather to look nicer than it does. When I spent this much money on shoes I expect top quality and long lasting wear.

Very cute booties! Perfect height- I travelled all day and walked all night- first time I wore them- and had no issues. I am one the usually wears sneakers or flats and found these to be incredibly Comfortable.

I love these booties! I recommend to order 1/2 size smaller than your regular size. This is a high quality shoe. The photos do not show how nice they are. Too bad there is not a video. Sits just above ankle, not loose and not tight at ankle. Great medium brown color. Bought these for my every day shoes. Can be dressed up and down. Why have I never heard of Kork-Ease? I like them as much (or better) than the two pair of Frye's I own. Thanks Zappos!

When I received these boots it looked like the leather had been worn a bit. I have only had them a couple weeks and they look awful. I am not hard on shoes and the “leather” on the outside of each boot is already stuffed. I am super disappointed in the material quality of these boots, especially for the price I paid.

This is a gorgeous boot! So sad that it is too large. I’m a true 8 with a medium width foot and this felt at least a half size large. The leather is very good quality and comfortable. I might anticipate this to stretch a bit upon wearing, so would definitely suggest ordering a half size down if you have a medium width foot. I really like that the ankle opening isn’t so wide as to create a big gap (I have narrow calves and ankles and often booties look almost baggy on me). The heel is a unique shape that makes this boot really stand out from the average black bootie. Also very comfortable with good support. Will be ordering a 7.5 for sure.

(picture is after 1 year of HEAVY use) I got these last year in the brown leather. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these. They're comfortable, and they go with everything. I get a ton of compliments on them. They wear well, both throughout the day and over time. There is a little creasing where the leather bends, and it adds a lot of character because the leather is high quality. I finally took the plunge and treated the leather this year with conditioner, which obviously darkens the color. I still love them! Going to purchase another pair this year, in black.

These boots are beautiful although run just a tinge narrow. However, the zipper was of poor quality and started coming apart after only a few wears.

The size and fit are excellent. I wore them for 5 hours, standing at church. They did not cause any discomfort. Unfortunately they are defective. The left boot zipper is torn from the leather at the seam. I will be returning sadly.. I noticed that zipper was difficult to zip up but thought it was just because they were new.

Super nice, high quality bootie. Really wishing these would have worked for me. I ordered my usual size 9. Too big. Returned for an 8 1/2. Too big. Ordered an 8 (unheard of for me) and they maybe fit. Feel slightly snug. Wondering how much they will loosen with wear. Ultimately, I decided to return since these are on the spendy side for me so I want them to fit perfectly out of the box. Thank you Zappos for your wonderful return policy.

Love the brand, great for and size. I walk a lot during the day in a manufacturing facility so I need comfortable boots, these do the trick. Day one, 8 miles, no complaints.

Perfection! I wore my Lucky Basel booties to the ground and thought I would just buy the same but wanted a bit of a higher heel and these Kork-Ease booties have been ideal! And got several compliments for them.

Beautiful boot but it runs big

I usually wear a 9.5, so I tried a 9 and it was too big. Other than that, the boots were super comfy and stylish. They are definitely more of a brown color than the cognac color I was hoping they would be, but the leather was nice. I will try an 8.5 and hope they work out!

A year later, I love this boot. I have it in both black and brown and am now looking at other Kork-Ease for no-heel boot and shoe options. Highly recommend.

I really like this bootie! I am in my early sixties, with 2 fussy knees and 1 disagreeable bunion and I was able to wear these all night (and danced) at a casual wedding. The clunky heel was very "groovy" and surprisingly comfortable. They gave me just a little height, that my knees could handle. Not tight in the toe box, so the bunion was OK. They rise up enough around the ankle and are tight enough to not look baggy. I have enormous trouble finding a comfortable shoe that isn't hideous and these were a delightful surprise. Not hideous at all!

Great shoe. Lots of toe room, easy to get on and an attractive heel. I wear a 7 1/2 (this shoe runs a little big).

These fit true to size. These are very comfortable and I love the look. I’d definitely buy another pair. I normally can’t wear any heals all day and these are super comfortable. I definitely would recommend!

I almost sent these back when I first received them - the ankle is quite a bit narrower than I'm used to, and at first blush they seemed like they just wouldn't be comfortable for that reason. But I wore them around the house for a bit, and the ankle began to loosen up. I normally wear a size 7, but picked up a 6.5 based on previous reviews. Although they began a bit tight in the ankle, they're still a bit long in the toe box. I thought about exchanging for a 6, but was afraid the ankle would be even tighter. They're very comfortable - the heel is just the right height, and there's a bit of arch support that feels really good. I wore these for hours the first time I left the house, and could have kept going. That was a pleasant surprise.

Usually I’m a size 10. Ordered 9.5 based on other reviews, and they fit nicely with an insole. Wore them out of the box to a convention that required a lot of walking, and they were very comfortable.

Returned; but I really wanted to like them. The shaft was a little wide and my heel would slip forward.

I am a 7.5 in other kork ease but the 7.5 was too big in this shoe. I returned and got a 7 and it fits perfect. Very happy I exchanged for 1/2 size smaller.

These are very well crafted and comfortable. I agree with the reviews to order 1/2 size down especially if you plan to wear thinner socks. The footbed is awesome. However, I really wanted the color shown in the photo.. which is more of a Carmel brown. The color I received looks like the grey Chandra II. I re-ordered and tried my normal size. (My normal size was too long and left a gap behind my heel.) Both pairs were the same grayish color.

Look the look but felt a whole bigger than the actual size.
