I don’t typically do reviews, but Zappos really tried to help me so here goes...I think I’m one of a very small group who Birkenstock’s just won’t fit:/ I’ve been working on my feet for 28 years and have multiple issues with fallen arches, arthritis, etc. I originally ordered a narrow version in burgundy leather that I loved. After wearing for 5 shifts, my feet started to settle into the footbed. That’s when I realized the widest part of my foot was resting on the outer rim and it was digging in. My foot felt bruised underneath for a few days. Zappos very kindly flexed outside the return policy to allow me an exchange. I tried this pair in the regular. It was worse somehow. I don’t understand how a regular had less room in the footbed, but I sent them back unworn the same day. I’m really happy with Zappos service, but bummed about the Birkenstock’s. The straps were very loose on the regular. That may be what they consider giving more room.

Birkenstock fit for me is always perfect. I like the look as well as the feel. I've worn the sandals for 30 years. This year I bought this pair along with the sandal with shearling, thinking one would be for winter and one for summer. I liked the shearling so much that I am returning this pair. For someone younger, living in a warmer climate, they may need the two pair. I will try the London for the winter. Hopefully I will only need Birkenstock and can stop trying to find shoes that fit because I will have them.

I have been wearing Birkenstock Arizonas for 20 years after I got plantar fasciatis and these shoes healed it right up and it never came back. I loved the ultra-neutral shade of the Faded Khaki with the matching buckles instead of the metal buckles. But they had a little bit of a greenish tint to them (you can see that in the photo, with the bottoms as well). It's lovely and earthy and classic, but just does not go with my skin tone. I just have the wrong skin tone for this color suede. I'm going to try the grey coin and the regular taupe colors instead. I remember buying my very first Birkenstocks right here at Zappos ! Many years ago. I never buy shoes anywhere else.

I have hesitated with Birkensocks for years because they aren't really my style, but I have developed a horrendous case of plantar fasciatis and achilles tendinitis during the pandemic, and I needed more options than sneakers come summer -- I wanted something to just slip on. So I finally gave in, and within 2 days my feet feel so much better.

I bought these for my 20 year old son. He loved them - thought they were comfortable right out of the box.

great shoe and nice looking… I really like the softer footbed and prefer it to my older Birks. I’d definitely recommend them and would buy again…

I am a Birkenstock lover. never had a pair I didn’t like. these are beautiful, love the look of the suede. so comfortable.

I have a friend who wore them and looking at the style, I ask her about them and she said oh I love them, you should get you a pair, she said, and they are sooo comfortable these are all I wear, So I bought a pair, I have never turned back, they are all I Wear.
