Feels like infrared heat covers your body. The hood is great - stays up without blinding you (adjustable) and is very warm. Good selection of pockets velcro and zipped. I think it is the warmest coat I have had in 50+ years.

Jacket is amazing and have nothing bad to say about it besides it's a size bigger but still ok, usually I wear medium so ordered medium but thinking should've ordered small.

I absolutely love this jacket. -Fit wise, it's snug where you want it to be in order to avoid any chilly wind, and more articulate without looking baggy in areas such as the arms and shoulders. My ONLY complaint about this jacket is the sleeve length. This may be personal preference but I prefer when sleeves run just a little past the wrist so that when you tighten them with velcro and you need to do any reaching or anything that the sleeve doesn't run up your arm, thankfully this jacket doesn't have that issue nearly as much as some other jackets I've tried on do. I don't believe this was a size issue either, I tried both the Large and X-Large sizes and they seemed to have the exact same sleeve length, however the XL was way too baggy on me. (For fit reference, I'm 6'4 and weigh about 215, mostly skinny fat) - Style wise, it's great. The Khaki is an excellent color, there's a lot of useful pockets on it, and I've gotten a ton of compliments on the jacket. - When to wear - I live in Chicago and have been wearing this during a week of cold rain in temps of around 25-35, and I've been completely content throwing this coat on over just a t-shirt. The dryvent tech coupled with the shaping of the hood and the clips and zipper up to the neck do a great job of keeping rain and wet snow off of you almost entirely.

I am 5'6" 160lbs. I'm not an avid athlete, but am not out-of-shape. The Small North Face Outer Boroughs jacket (standard fit) was way too tight around my chest, restricting breathing and movement. The medium was huge. This jacket (relaxed fit), in small, first beautifully. It is still form fitting, but not overly restricting. The jacket is beautiful, seems very well made, is easy to get on and off, and is very warm. There are side pockets in addition to the front pockets (which are much smaller than you would think). The length is great, and the hood with faux fur is deceivingly warm. Overall, I no longer dread putting on a jacket when it is cold. outside.

This jacket solves most/all COLD winter problems! It is very warm and somewhat heavy/bulky. My personal opinion, I only use it for weather under 30F. I really like it, only complaint is that there is no elastic band to tighten the waist but, it is much longer than typical jacket.

It is a nice parka, warm and decent pockets. Zipper could be a bit beefier for a parka.

Love this parka, looks great and is really warm. I looked at 5-6 different name brands and none fit the all around options and price point.

The way I use this product is that since it's winter time, I thought it'll be best to invest in a winter jacket. I chose North Face because y'all company never did me wrong. When I tried it on, it fit like I hoped it would. It's big enough so it'll be warm during freezing weather but it has a stylish/slim fit to it.

Super warm! Don't even need a sweater to go under it! Chest pockets should be slightly larger, but perfect other than that.

I live in NYC and we get cold winters. This coat does as promised!! Great quality and got it on sale.

The jacket is super warm, but runs large in the chest/stomach area and small in the sleeves. Bottom buttons come undone when moving around. Would be nice to have a snow guard around the waist and maybe in the sleeves.

Just throw it on top of my suit and I'm ready for subzero temperatures, no need for layering. Zippers are a bit small and hard to connect though.

Fits perfectly. I was looking for a very warm jacket and this coat meets my expectations.

I purchased the McMurdo Parka III after doing quite a bit of research online and I can already say that I am happy with my purchase. It's been especially cold and windy here in Maryland and I can tell that this was the right purchase. I'm happy about my new "daily driver" coat and would recommend this to my friends and family.

This jacket is comparable to the Gotham love them both! Great for -20 Canadian winter. This more casual style compare to the more sporty Gotham. Great quality and price

I live in Minneapolis where it gets, shall we say, a little cold in the winter -- as I write this it is -2 degrees outside. I'm surprised how warm and comfortable this is. I would highly recommend it to anyone living in cold weather.

I Have 2 Northface Parkers , One For Work And The Other For casual

Bought this cause I hate cold weather. Put this on in the store and didn't take it off, just paid for it and left. It's comfortable and warm.
