After watching my husband try on this coat for months and drop hints about it, I bought it for him for Christmas. He loves the coat and it was exactly what he was looking for to cut through the cold Chicago wind

When I placed an order of this parka as a Xmas gift for my son, I was not very sure whether he'd like it or not. When my son opened the box and put it on in the Xmas morning, I knew immediately I picked right gift! The jacket looked so nice on him, much better than shown in the picture, and so warm and fit to New England's cold winter. My son and I both loved it!

This product is great. Keeps me super warm in these cold conditions up in Minnesota.

This outwear is very confortable and warm. Fits a little large so take a size below your regular one.

Great looking and functional wear. Needed to find reliable coat to wear to get me through Chicago winter. Stylish for work commute, while keep me warm and dry on windy/snow/wet climates. A+ for style and function. Only con is the size of the hood. I had removed the faux fur as I like to look without it, but without the extended faux fur, the hood would only cover 2/3 of my head...it also does not have adjustment strap on the edge of the hood to pull down to avoid wind from blowing the hood back. Address these issues and add few dollars to the price, you will have a perfect winter coat!! In terms of fit, it runs a bit large. I would typically wear between S and M. Bought S thinking it would be snug, but it fits perfect for my build even with a layer of thick sweater. I'm 175 lb 5'7".

I bought this coat for my husband, he loves it , it has a lot of pockets and it's very warm but also very stylish he's gotten lots of compliments on this goat would definitely buy again.

McMurdo Parka was so well received that the whole family took turns wearing it in the snow. Warm and very comfortable. Son in-law is ordering one as I write this. He is an avid backcountry enthusiast and experienced guide in the winter. He absolutely loved the paraka

Cold winters and I don't feel a thing in this jacket

It looks good and it's nice. It is too hot if you have to sit inside for an extended amount of time

Perfect coat that will last years to be past only used for winter so the use is less but had the same coat before so I know all about it love all the pockets the zipper is good just needs to be replaced every couple years and the weight is probably one of the heaviest jackets probably but love it

This jacket was a fantastic purchase. It feels so warm for my Chicago winters and is really comfortable to wear.

It is awesome, super cool

I use this jacket at temperatures 32 F and below with wind chill, Please read the instructions about the zipper about how to lock in and then zip it otherwise you will be struggling with it. Once you learn how to lock both the zips together and then zip it to upwards to close everything will be easy.

I LOVE MY NORTH FACE COAT

I came from a tropical city and I'm fairly new here in Chicago. You probably have an idea what's my temperature tolerance level. I'm very sensitive to freezing temp. This year is my 4th winter season. For the past winter seasons I've experimented on winter coats and jackets but didn't really find any that will keep me warm. I even got myself those heated coats but end up returning them. Everytime I buy something, I make it sure I research about it first before I let go my money. That's how I end up buying those previous products -cause of good reviews. There were some that kept me warm to an extent but when the temp here in Chicago drops negative, they're just not enough. This year, I decided to bump up my budget and finally settled with this guy. It did hurt my pocket a little but when I wore it when the first snow dropped here in Chicago, I swear I was just wearing a single tshirt underneath it, no layering at all, and I was super warm inside. It really is worth the money. I highly recommend it to my friends.

Got this parka as a gift to myself and it's turned out to be one of the best investments I've ever made. Feels like God is hugging me while facing Chicago's worst weather. I'm 6'1, 170 and medium is pure joy. The built in face mask is off the chain and even when the Chi-town Hawk swoops down, this bad boy helps me maintain!!!! LOVE IT!!!!!

It can be difficult to find tall sizes with appropriately long sleeves. This fits very well.
