I bought this jacket back in January in preparation for a trip I took to Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. This jacket kept me super warm while standing outside in long lines and waiting for buses in freezing cold temperatures. I spent a lot of time researching the right jacket before purchasing and this one consistently topped "best buy" lists as the warmest jacket for extreme weather. It certainly has proved to be a best buy for me! It looks great, and the chest hand warmer pockets were a real plus when I didn't have time to put gloves on. Unfortunately I bought the jacket right before I lost 45 lbs, and the size M jacket no longer fits me, which is a real shame. But I would still highly recommend it. Great jacket, super warm, and extremely comfortable.

Love this coat. Very warm! Too warm for most of the winter, but I bought it for those days when the wind slices right through you. Its season coulda be expanded with some added zippered vents. Love the two-way zipper. It is a little quirky to get started as others have mentioned but the more you zip it then more intuitive it becomes.

Great garment never expected such overall performance and coverage. I moved from Puerto Rico to Watervliet Michigan and the extreme change of weather could not be greater. Everyone of my friends and family members told me I was overspending on a coat. To that I answered better to have it and not need it to needing it and not having it. Totally enamored with my choice.

Very warm, I put it on and within minutes I started to sweat. A bit on the heavy side and trying to zip it up takes some practice.

I have been using TNF products for over a decade because they have very good quality items at reasonable and affordable prices. They also last a long time and their YKK zippers seem to be indestructible. Highly recommend anything they make but especially the jackets because I own many. Thank you TNF, keep up the great work!

Nice coat. Very warm. This was a gift from my wife. It keeps me warm in the coldest day. All I need is a T-shirt underneath because I get hot quickly.

I have only had this parka for a short time. I has kept me nice and warm in really cold weather. Does a good job blocking the wind. Have't tested it in the rain yet, but I feel confident that it do a good job handling that also.

I bought this jacket in preparation for next winter. This will be ideal to wear in Idaho's cold winter months and will be a must wear to 8:00 kick offs for Mountain West Football games.

So many usable pockets! Warm, lightweight, so comfortable. I'd tried on 5 other parkas from different brands. This one is perfect!

I really really like this jacket, worth every penny! I did a lot of research prior to buying this as I needed something warm, but also looking for style. As far as style goes, I get a lot of compliments on this jacket, it looks and feels great! I have been testing this jacket out in all sorts of climates. In NY I was outside walking to work in -5 degrees and 20 degrees. I was still super warm! And I wasn't even wearing gloves, just hands in my pockets. I also used it up in Iceland for a trip where I was outside a good 12 hours of the day in 10-20 degrees and I was still super warm! The wind doesn't get through at all! I noticed around 30-40 degrees the jacket is actually too hot! Which I'm totally okay with, but it actually feels like the jacket has a built in heater, it's great. I friend the Canada Goose and I was debating between the two. I wors both outside in NY around 20 degrees, I honestly felt no difference in the warmth. I went with north face because it's the same quality, keeps you warm and is a fraction of the cost.

This jacket has been a lifesaver in the Philly cold this winter. It holds up to the wind and the hood provides nice insulation up top as well.

I wear this in extreme cold weather to walk my son to school and it is the best. I am never cold despite the temps getting to the negative teens. Can't say enough good things about this coat.

I'm short and stocky so it was perfect upper body wise but it went way too far down, all the way to my knees. Im 5'6 ans got the medium. Other than that it was the warmest jacket ive ever worn

Great winter jacket. You can literally wear just a shirt underneath and wont feel cold. Only thing bad I can say is the zipper coulda been better. At first the zipper gave me problems but now just push the other part of zipper in using thumb then zip up. U should be good
