I have never in my life spent this much on any shoe, so I was nervous...until I put them on. Oh! They are so buttery soft and fit like a glove, perfect shaft height for my 5’4” frame hitting 3 inches below knee. While there is no arch support, I can use my Good Feet insert easily. The brown leather is gorgeous and I love them so much I’m buying a pair in black. I can’t believe how comfortable these are and they will only get better as the soft leather stretches to conform to my feet. I’m a David Tate fan for life!

Boots fit great in the feet. The calf was tight without any pants/tights underneath.

I really hated to return these boots. They were made really well fit great, and the leather was very soft. I ordered a Doublewide and usually that just equals wide for me but these were actually nice and wide. The zipper moved smoothly. Also they were made in Italy, I love things made in Italy. I opted for the Naturalizer pair that looked similar because they were $100 less. I would’ve gone for $50 more but a hundred was a little over my limit. I hope I didn’t make a mistake because the zipper really didn’t wanna move on the Naturalizer pair.

I can't get the zipper on the right calf to go up all the way. The left boot fit fine and I could zip it up, but the right leg won't zip up all the way. My right calf is slightly bigger than my left, but all my other knee-high boots zip up. I think I'm going to keep them because they're so cool looking and fit great otherwise, but if you have wide calves, they probably won't zip up.

I loved the look of these boots but unfortunately they are going back. The foot fit well but the calf too narrow.

I love these boots! I was so excited when I received these and the foot part was perfect for my narrow feet and heels. However, the excitement ended when I zipped them up.... the circumference of the shaft was obviously designed for someone with very large calves! I have very slim legs, so I will be returning these boots. It would seem to me that part of the description of tall boots would include the circumference of the shaft. It would have saved me time and disappointment, and the additional cost to have them shipped two days rather than the normal time to accommodate a trip I wanted to wear them on.

I'm normally a huge David Tate fan because they offer wide sizes. I ordered these in a WW and they were way too narrow! Typically I have tons of room in their boots.. These felt like a medium width. Sadly, they are going back.

So supple and soft. But not for petites who need a shorter shaft. I’m 5’ and need a 14-14.5” high shaft. But, these are so buttery soft and a fairly simple design. I wish they were 14” high shaft and a more narrow shaft circumference. Sadly have to return.

I am 5' and have narrow calves and these were just a bit too wide for me at the top. They came up to just below my knee which is an improvement over most boots, especially with the trend towards tall. (So few boots for petites.) But the leather is so soft and the boots are comfortable. I have a hard time finding boots and they are just not what I'm looking for. It's hard for petites to wear boots unless they are form fitting.

I love these boots! Beautiful leather, super comfortable and they look great. Well worth the money.

Perfect!!! I have a smaller calf so they fit perfect no gap at all. Love them.

Like a glove!

These boots are so nice - leather, style. I'm 5'1" with 115#s and usually boots might be too tall and swim on my calves. These were very comfortable to walk in, but my calves could not breath. So sadly returned. I tried the 6 (usual size) and moved up to the 6.5, but even though I could zip them, felt too tight on my calves.

The style is great and the toe box for size 6 is good- not too long. But the quality of this show is garbage. This is Not leather and if it’s made in Italy then it is made in a cheap factory. The lining is plastic and the outside looks like plastic. Very disappointing!!! Compared to the Born Cosna. These are much better fit for small calves and short legs. About an inch shorter below the knee and closer fit to calf which makes them tempting keep but the quality is worth $125 or less. Keep looking at Clark’s and Frye.
