If you have wide feet but not big calves, these are perfect. I have looked for several years for tall boots without success until now. I have both wide feet and a high instep. I have found particularly with wide width boots, that the circumference of the shaft of the boot is usually too large on me. These David Tate boots are just right. Beautiful quality and comfortable, and a good fit. Ideally I could use just a little more arch support, but these are pretty good. I like the classic style, however I might have chosen something a little more fashionable if I didn't have wide feet and therefore limited selection. Overall though I am very happy with these boots.

These boots are GORGEOUS. Hand made in Venice, butter soft leather, and very comfortable. However, the calf shaft is so narrow I can't get them zipped. I'm am an average sized person with average calves, I'm not a plus size and have never needed "wide shaft" boots. I am sick about it because the boots are so beautiful, but I'm going to have to send them back.

Way too tight on normal-sized calves. Going to have to return them.

LOVE these boots! I've got a 13W and regular size calf, so there aren't a lot of options for me. These are comfortable and dress up just about every look. I love a classic boot. The leather is high quality and the cut is good. Had my eye on these for ages and super glad I got them.

I loved the look and the feel of this boot! Beautiful.....however MY skinny legs looked lost in the boot that came to my knee....I am sooooo sad!

I normally find most knee high boot too large, these were just right but a little short. I’ll keep them because finding boots that aren’t way to big are far and few between. Beautiful boots, Italian made and very soft.
