I found these boots to be super comfortable right out of the box. They accommodate my wider foot nicely and don't feel loose or otherwise ill fitting. They are warm and weatherproof as I recently tested them while walking my dog during a downpour. I would recommend them for their utility and casual style.

This was a beautiful shoe. I gave it 5 stars on comfort because there is no “N/A” option but in truth I can’t speak to comfort because I have an unnaturally high instead and I couldn’t get it on, no fault of the shoe. Like all Merrell’s I’ve owned have been well made comfortable shoes. These appear cut of that same swatch of leather.

This is a stellar shoe. Unfortunately I have a non stellar foot. High instep made them impossible to get on. I should have known after 61 years with these feet.

I have wide feet and have been have been looking for something like this. Finally something that fits! I'm a 10.5 and fits perfectly. My width is probably 4E or 5E and the width is also perfect. Waterproof, insulated, great sole and support, leather uppers. Very satisfied.

Went to Alaska. Perfect boots. No break time and the snow and slush didn't effect my feet. Also had better grip on ice that the friends I was with that had other boots.

As expected, perfectly comfortable and high quality. Expect a break in period of a couple of days on the third tongue of the boot as it was a bit stiff initially. Super easy to slip on and off. A great boot for my work as a Life Flight Pilot

Solid boot. Vibram sole. Comfy and secure, but a bit too roomy (for me) in the "wide" (in height and width). A good quality insole fixes that.

These Merrell Chelsea boots from Zappos fit perfectly right out of the box. It only took one day for the boots to adapt to my ankles. They are very comfortable for all-day wear, including lots of walking. I strongly recommend these boots to people who like Merrell shoes, and want an insulated waterproof stylish boot for Fall, Winter, and Spring.
