it feels like the left shoe is lower than the right. I have two pairs of the Mocs, and they fit great. These are like shuffling in boxes.

Boots seemed well made, but I wasn't able to get my feet in them. I have two pairs of Merrell hiking shoes which fit perfectly, so I assumed these boots in the same size (13) would fit as well. I wasn't able to get my foot into them at all!
A larger size might have worked, but seems counter-intuitive to have boots that are too large for your feet just so you can actually get your feet in them.

Good waterproof shoes and fit to foot shape. But there's no cushion. The bottom is so hard. Hope they make all hiking shoes better cushion. Also Merrell size is bigger. I usually wear size 9 or 9.5 (for running shoes) but size 9 was too big. I regret not to choose 8.5. I can't return because I wore them outside.

Great quality everything but the cushion/sole is hard and is not the most comfortable if you have foot problems on the bottom of your feet or have just completed heavy excersize. Should be okay for commuting but I don't see myself wearing them past the winter season.

In general the boots are good and it is difficult to find shoes that fit my width. Notwithstanding however the top front bib has a thiicker uneven strip at the top that pushes into my front leg. I wish there was a padding or nothing at all.

I purchased these as an around-the-farm boot that could repel water and clean up easily. Merrell doesn’t make a women’s size 12 or 13 in most of their styles, so I went with these in a size 11.5.
These fit very wide and loose, but are very comfortable to walk around with because of the wide, very rugged sole. My only complaint is that these are not truly waterproof as described. At first they seemed to repel water great, but then seemed to lose the waterproof coating pretty quickly. After a couple months of wear they become soaking wet on the inside and take forever to dry. I am going to take a look at Bogs…

Sole is bent causing rubbing and discomfort. Love the boot otherwise. Hope it bends back over time.

Fit, size and utility are great. Best easy on and off ever!!
The top front of the shoe looks like it is going to break and crack in the first week.
I am glad Zappos has a good return policy.

The boots seem good, however The pair I got had a little defect on it where the lip of the sole isn't fully glued on to the toe on one of the boots.

The boots are well made and the foot portion is comfortable and wide-as advertised. However, the upper portion has elastic sides which are rather narrow and less than comfortable. They also make it harder to get the boot on your foot. I have tried stretching them but without much success.

Not warm. They say "Polar" but my toes get cold in 40 degree weather.

I bought this for winter to spare my Mocs. The fit is loose; will someone please start making winter boots for wide feet so we don't have to up a size? The top chafes a bit. Wear with heavy, long socks only.

I bought two pairs of these boots over two years. Very comfortable. The issue I had was with the sole. The sole separated from the upper part on both pairs.

The boots are mostly comfortable but they cut into the front shins with every step. Perhaps with time they will soften up, I hope

I have several Merrell products and have been very pleased with them. I Like the style and quality of the Moab Chelsea boot. The comfort is good except for the shin. If there is a way to loosen that up, this would be a recommend and a 5 star review! I would appreciate your feedback.

I was replacing an LL Bean boot (discontinued) and pretty much knew what I wanted to feel on my foot. Want it lightly insulated (the Beans were 100 gm) and waterproof. The Bean boot had been good from the get go. This boot did not feel all that good and seemed to throw off my stride. It was not comfortable around the ankles.
I do a fair amount of walking and am looking for something I can wear nearly every day without hesitation. These are not that boot; I didn't want to "wait and see" if they would break in and be stuck with a pair of boots that would not be my "go to's."
I'd also recommend:

Comfy workboot for my daily kick-arounds in the shop. I thought i found a blundstone replacement, but alas, after 3 months~ the toe rubber overlay- on both shoes- has become delaminated. So now I have this ugly floppy rubber piece that hangs open, catching every bit of sawdust and debris in the catchment zone. Super annoying. And if I slap some black shoe-goo in there, that'll be equally as ugly.
So, kind of a bummer when you find a great shoe, then subsequently doesn't hold up to 3 months before delaminating.

Just got size 9
I wear regular size 9
These are very tight around the sides of my feet and can't be worn for too long. Wondering if I should try size 9 in wide
just not sure if will be too big

The shoes are comfortable but not waterproof. Today is a lot of snow in Portland and after a one-hour walk, my feet got wet, especially the left one.

Returning because fitness too big. I have several pairs of Merrills. Always get the same size. Tried to go with a size smaller, but was told they would not be re stocked until the fall season

I loved these boots at first. Waterproof, comfortable, and good-looking. Just over a year later, while the latter two descriptions remain apt, these boots are NOT waterproof. The lip of the toe is peeling away on each boot. I just came home from walking my dog after a night of light snow/sleet/rain. My feet were SOAKED. Very disappointing that these shoes are made so cheaply that the glue comes undone after barely a year of moderate use.

I normally wear a Men's size 9. With the Merrell Adventure Chelsea, even a size 8.5 was too big. Other than that they're super comfy/warm

I bought these as a Christmas gift for my son. He wears a 10 in Merrills sneakers, so I ordered a 10. They were too large so I exchanged them for a 9.5. He said one feels fine, the other one is too small. Merrills are my favorite brand, but there is a frustrating variation in size, from pair to pair and style to style. These will go back. We start again.

I loved the build quality, but unfortunately my heel would not stay planted at the back. The shoe was otherwise sized perfectly, but would slip up and down my heel just enough to be a deal breaker.

Feet were bouncing around in there. The size itself is correct but they seemed to widen not just the wide but the inside height. Poor ankle support due to extra space once you squeezed foot into entrance of boot.
