Well after many many Merrell shoe purchases that were always very comfortable these Hut Mocs won't work for me !! The seam inside the shoe is extremely irritating .. These are not comfortable to me at all !!

Many good experiences with Merrell shoes, but, unfortunately the hut moc just isn't comfortable.

Great in concept, poor in execution. Slippery sole that has a terrible feel of the channel down the center. Not sure what I can or will ever use these for. Slips on hard floors and carpet. Uncomfortable to wear out or for any extended period of standing or walking. Save your money!

They appeared to be a wide toe box but they pinched the sides of my forefoot since the toe box starts past the point where your foot widens. And the foot bed is very hard and not flexible at all. Think of a frozen Croc that's one size too small? I returned them.

EVA sole. That is what makes the Hut Moc light. It is a foam rubber material. Foam is the key word here. I bought these to take backpack camping. To lighten the load. EVA is normally the shoe liner, or cushion, not the sole. On my first trip I was at the fire pit and picked up a stick and put my foot on it to break it to add to the flames. That momentary contact between the EVA sole and a hot stick, not a burning stick, not a black charred stick, just a stick near the fire, caused my Hut Moc sole to melt. So, any moderate heat will ruin this shoe sole. Never had trouble with rubber soled camp shoes. And they tend to be half as expensive.

I am super disappointed in Merrell on this line... This particular shoe the print on the padded top portion is faded and the color scheme is bit different from the preview pics demoed on this site. Think more low resolution print with violet/pink as opposed to blue/violet. The overall build and quality of the shoes feels cheap ( I hope I am wrong), and it's hard to relate the shoe I received to a 'night sky'.

This product felt cheaply made and poorly designed. The material that comes in contact with your instep is separate from the shoe and rubs your foot. I tried them on on with socks also but it was still an issue. You'd expect more from Keen, especially for such an expensive product. Too many of the expensive brands are doing their manufacturing overseas and the quality is going downhill.

One shoe fits fine; the other, not so much. All the reviewers that said they run small are also spot on. Even going a half size larger than you would normally wear may be cutting it close. While I am a big fan of Merrell's writ large, these shoes are quite the disappointment.

Challenging to put on. Leather heel folds in. Fit too tight across top of foot and cut off circulation. I cut elastic on both sides to make them more comfortable.

I don't know what is going on with these shoes. It feels like an arch was molded on the outside of the foot bed, causing your ankles and knees to turn inward.

I just received these. Hard sole no cushion inside fells like wearing a shoe without the liner. They don't just slip on and it's looking ke walking on cardboard. No support and they are not cool and comfortable bought 14 regular as I do most shoes these are very snugg and it takes effort to put them on. I would never walk any distance in these and I have slippers more comfortable that I can slip on and off without any difficulty. Sorry Merrel I bought these because I thought they would be fun and comfortable to wear. They are cool to look at if that's your thing

I love Merrell products but the HUT MOC was an exception. I thought it would be like a slipper I could enjoy and wear outside ocassionally. I found the shoe uncomfortable and had to return it. Maybe it was me who misinterpreted the description. But if you are looking for a servicable slipper this is not for you. I love my other Merrell products and will continue to buy them.

The curved rubber bottom makes the shoe fit much smaller than all other Merrells I have owned. They look neat though.

A bit tight across the top. I'm a solid 12 in most anything Men's but these were uncomfortably tight across the top, even with a thin sock.

I keep my toes nicely trimmed and you simply can't wear these without socks. The nails catch on the quilting. I also think they look really dumb with socks due to the elastic back.

I purchased the HutMoc and it was delivered yesterday morning. It looked terrific, and it fit well. The moc looked great, the color was attractive (Bossanova), the fit near perfect, the soles were firm as expected, but my bare foot was very uncomfortable. The interior of the moc was "unfinished." The seams, the stitches, the edges of the interior, etc. were all there in the open, and rubbing on every part of my feet. I am disappointed, as I liked everything about the moc, except the most important part, comfort. Perhaps if I had put socks on, much of what was causing my distress, may not have been noticeable. But I wanted to use these primarily as slippers, and in my bare feet. Where I live the temperature is typically moderate, so no need for socks. I own five or six pairs of Merrell shoes, and generally wear them without socks, even my two pair of Jungle Mocs a lot of the time. I would gladly have paid more for the mocs had they been "finished" inside of the shoe. That might be a thought for future editios of Hut Mocs. Thanks folks.

Not quite what I pictured when I tried them on. Middle of sole felt concave. Awkward to walk in.

The sewn seam of the upper to the sole is a rough area inside the shoe and caused me to return the shoe. The seam is in the side of the shoe and not the bottom as is usually the case. My toes rubbed in the rough seam and was uncomfortable.

The presentation of this shoe is that of an ultra lightweight comfort piece for downtime wear. This would be true, except that the interior of this shoe is extremely uncomfortable. There is a strange hard plastic that runs the perimeter of the insole that makes this shoe impossible to wear bare footed. This may not be intended for bare foot use, but the name "Hut Moc" eludes to something softer. I am a dedicated Merrell customer. I have no intention of bailing on them, but I bought this pair as part of the "Cozy Kit" and they are anything but. A lined interior would have made this the best slipper I've ever seen, and I wear house shoes daily. If Merrell were to refine these and make them comfortable, I would buy a pair. Unfortunately, these will get tossed in a closet and probably never be used. No competition for my Minnetonka slippers.

Where the rubber sole meets the upper poof of the shoe there is a flap of rubber above the seam. Rubs against foot and is very uncomfortable after short distances. A super narrow foot may be ok.
