I have a slightly wider then most foot. Merrell shoes have a slightly wider toe bed then most other brands. Size 10 fits well. I usually buy a 9.5 or 10 depending on the brand. Quality is exactly what you would expect for Merrell. As far as others complaining of a high arch, I think that is false. These are not flat foot shoes like the Slide model. The arch is gradual and minimul. Nothing like Nike or similar. I found the Arch to be the perfect size.

Very comfortable right out of the box! I'm glad I read the reviews before I ordered them. Someone said they are 1/2 size different, I normally take a 10, so I ordered a 9 1/2, they fit perfectly!! Couldn't be happier, been wearing Merrill's for years!!

Love them. Right out of the box, no need to break-in. Great for light running, exercise and all round running errands shoe. The arch and tight/close support running through the mid foot goes above and beyond. I hope it holds out. Extremely light weight, almost feels like an extension of my socks. The only negative is the inside ankle is cut real low around the ankle. It feels like something is missing, but after a few minutes you really don't notice it. Looking forward to wearing these out over the next few months.

I bought these sight unseen, so took a chance. So far I find them comfortable and lightweight to wear in the gym.

Lightweight and comfortable, but wish there was an option for wider width since they are a slip-on shoe where the tongue area doesn't open any wider.

I cannot comment on comfort beyond the fact that the shoe was very light and fit snugly, if a little too much; getting them on was a challenge without a shoe horn. That said, I had no idea they did not have a sole insert that I could remove and replace with my Planter Fasciitis insert, so they became unwearable due to small fit and I returned. I would encourage Merrell to note on each product description whether the shoe has a removal insert. It would have avoided a return and an out-of-pocket expense for me; freight charge.

When I saw Merrell had come out with these shoes I was very excited to order a pair because I'm a big fan of the slip on shoes with laces. I received these shoes and immediately put them on and I was a bit disappointed and thought about getting on here and writing a bad review. These shoes don't have the out of the box comfort I've been accustomed to with all my other Merrell shoes. The mid foot felt very narrow and just a hard feeling shoe. I decided to give Merrell a chance and wore the shoes for a week. After doing so the shoes are comfortable now and there are my every day shoe. I like the wide toe box but Merrell if you really listen to your customers I'd suggest widening the mid foot of this shoe and I believe it would become a top seller.

I have owned multiple Merrell shoes and love them for many reasons, but this pair was a unfortunate experience. I used them for 2 seperate times for ~ 1.5 hrs and both times developed blister at the arch of my foot from the rubber like material that on the outside near the sole. The arch was way too much for my foot causing it to cramp while usng it (I know this is a personal issue becasue of my feet), the shoes cannot be tightened enough for safe use, in my opinion, due to the sock like upper, if you tighten it too much the fabric bunches up under the laces and pinches the foot. Since you can't tighten it too much I found my feet were sliding alot and almost rolling in the shoe. The last thing I found to be a negative was the heel cup came up too much and rubbed on the achilles alot. The cushioning of the sole felt great that for sure and I am bummed that I cannot use these shoes as I really wanted to use them. Unfortunately I cannot return them due to them being used.

Tried them on. Sharp shoes however the right arch was seemingly molded improperly so obvious simply standing. I returned them awaiting another purchase soon -perhaps a different model altogether

I own numerous pairs of Merrill shoes and, up to now, have been more than satisfied with comfort and fit. These are just a weird design. The extra tag on the top where they spell out Merrill, inevitably get folded under and creates a pressure spot on the top of your foot. This happens because they are really difficult to get on. Shoes horns do not help because the material is so pliable and the top opening is so restrictive that you need 2 hands to get them on. Worse yet (and this is the real rub -figuratively and literally), there is no gusseting or tongue on these shoes so when you go to tighten them via the laces, the material is forced to fold under itself and creates 2 or more ridges that become untenable after a few minutes of wearing them. Solution Merrill: add a tongue, some kind of gusseting, or get rid of the laces! REALLY disappointed in Merrill! They are being returned.

These are easily the worst pair of Merrells I've ever tried on...and I own 6 other pairs, so I have experience with their products. To start, they run half a size small, which is a problem when you need the largest size made. Next, the width proportions are way off--the toe box is half an inch too wide, and the midfoot is a quarter-inch too narrow, but the heel is perfect. What?! Ouch! There's also a ridge that runs down the midway point of the shoe, right by the arch, that made me question whether these were ever given fit tests by actual humans. They literally hurt my feet from the second I put them on. I never even stood in them--they were THAT uncomfortable. Then there's the weird tongue. It's actually not a tongue at all since the upper is just one piece of mesh, but when the laces get cinched, there's nowhere for the extra material to go, so it just forms an uncomfortable ridge along the top of the foot. I have no idea what they're like to walk in because I couldn't stand them being on my feet. I'll be sending them back ASAP. I haven't had these issues with any of my other Merrells, so I don't know what's going on. I really hope this isn't a trend and that my next pair will be back to the quality footwear I'm used to! Sorry for the rant!

They run small and are not comfortable, they have a weird piece of material in the back that irritates the back of your ankle.
