I purchased these hikers to replace my old pair of Keens that had faithfully lasted me 10years. I believe that model was discontinued so I got these instead. At first they were perfect: comfortable and lightweight, waterproof, toe protection and super cute. Unfortunately, after LESS THAN THREE MONTHS of use the shoe is tearing away from the sole and water gets in. These were quite expensive for me and I loved these so much when i got them, so I'm really disappointed. I'm back to wearing my old pair now, which are still in one piece though they are no longer comfortable. I trusted the Keen brand but will not be repurchasing.

I loved these boots out of the box, wore them for hikes for a year, maybe twice a month. They definitely got SOME wear but after a winter of little use I tried them on again and they are split along the sole, similar to wear I've see on some other reviews. SO disappointed, the waterproofing is broken and I ended up with wet feet on one of my first hikes of spring. What makes it worse is that they have been so comfortable up until they started to fall apart. For $150 and the trouble to find a pair that are comfortable, I expect WAY more than a year out of them.

Darn, as much as I love the fit and feel of these boots, they are both splitting apart at the side of the toe boxes. I bought them from LL Bean in January of 2019 and wear them for dog walking. I paid $145 and think they should last longer than a year and a half! My previous pair of this model lasted for several years. I have a pair of low Keen hikers that is still going strong. They don't make them like they used to. I'm not sure what I'm going to replace these with now.
