I had seen several prior reviews that these sandals were too wide and allowed the foot to slide around. I did not have any such problems. The burgundy and turquoise colors are beautiful and the shoes fit fine...now considering another color!

The fit was all wrong. I couldn't get my foot into the sandal. It might have been long enough if I could have gotten my foot all the way into the shoe

Nice and soft leather, but not for narrow feet.

Love the style...the fit is a bit awkward at first. I found my heel sliding sideways, but after wearing them a bit I don't feel it is a problem. Made very well and cute!

Cute, but was hoping the design would offer a bit more arch support than it does. As another reviewer noted, the design pulls the heel and the arch inward, and so they look a bit off-kilter. Will wear for outings not involving a lot of walking. My feet are super sweaty (yuck!) so I need a big rotation of summer sandals and shoes.

I loved the beautiful brown leather and style of these. 39 fit my 9 and a half feet perfectly. Unfortunately, my feet wouldn't stay centered under the strap and kept angling off the inside edge of the heel. The leather straps are soft and comfortable, but the footbed is pretty hard.

I loved this sandal. It was cute but wasn’t very padded so walking comfort was in question. As noted by another reviewer, my foot felt like it twisted a bit to the side but I had to return them because I have a very high arch and instep, making it very difficult for me to find shoes that fit and that I like...a must. These shoes were cut for a flatter foot, one with a low arch and flat instep. I ordered the purple, which basically is a neutral because it goes with everything. The color was fabulous.

Apparently these are supposed to have a distressed look but they just looked dirty to me in person. Also felt that the top pressed the skin forward in a strange way on the top of my foot. It's hard to explain. I returned as they looked like someone else's old sandals.

Very cute but too tight across the top of my foot. My foot also wanted to twist sideways in the shoe (like others commented). I don’t think a bigger size would have made a difference as the length was true to size.

Full size up and STILL TOO SMALL !!

So disappointed. The way the strap is on the shoe, it goes on at an angle and half my heel hangs off the shoe.

Length short by 1/2 size. Stap too large when going 1/2 size up. Foot did not stay in shoe.

Ok Zappos did it again. Thank you. Right on time for my Birthday. I did read reviews across the web and some were 5 stars and some were less. I was hoping they would work for me but no. Very soft leather which was a surprise, the color was a natural white not a true white. Size was true but the cut was off. So just felt sloppy and walking sideways if that makes sense. Really wanted to like but no. Will return.

As another buyer mentioned, is true. The way the shoe is sewn together across the top to the inside arch, makes your foot slide off foot bed. It is really cute but returned for the crooked slant reason.

These have a strange fit. I ordered a 9.5 which is my normal size, and seemed long enough, but the toe strap runs large, and the main part of the shoe was too snug, so could not get my feet to the end of the shoe. I do not consider my foot to be wide, so these just might be meant for a narrower foot with a bigger big toe ;)

Weird color, more pale than the photos. Relatively comfy but had to return!

I like the style very much, but because there is not strap across the back, the shoe slips off my foot as I walk. I don't want to return them, so I am in search of a solution that will keep my foot from slipping out of the shoe.

Adorable sandal, but runs small. Will try to exchange for bigger size
