These are the best socks for long distance walking from my experience. I have worn Feetures for the last four years. My feet always feel fabulous in these socks. I prefer the quarter sock which stays up perfectly and also protects my ankle. The light cushion is for the warmer months. I wear the max cushion in the winter. I wash in warm water and line dry. I live in the mountains of North Carolina and many mountain trail runners also enjoy the benefits of these socks. You will not be disappointed in these fabulous socks.

I wear a size 10-11 in women's athletic shoes and ordered the large. Fit is perfect. Cushion is nice. I wear fairly thick wool socks usually but needed a little thinner sock for some shoes that are more snug. First pair I tried were ultra light and they were too light. Felt like my feet were slipping around in my shoes. These feels just about perfect.

I love Feetures socks! Elite Light Cushion is ideal for me because I don't like a lot of cushion. The colors are vibrant and I'm in love! Ordering a second pair because I don't EVER want to be without them!
